lothing and water bottles. Their choice of animals varies from week to week but will often include hamsters, guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits and a variety of cold water fish. The shop stocks just about anything to do with pets, or if it doesn't it can be ordered. The staff are very knowledgeable and can offer advice on their customer’s pet’s welfare - if they don't know the answer they will find out for you. Rabbits and guinea pigs holiday at the owner’s house so have access to runs, hopefully in the sun. Birds and hamsters stay in the friendly atmosphere of this Lancaster shop. There is also a delivery service available for the local area.

What a way to make my day! We don't often see a fellow malteser!

Had to share our dashing little visitor today - Who was fresh out of his groom from Lune Dog Grooming 🩷Doesn't he look gorgeous!

He popped in for a brand new heritage range step in harness and to compliment a hi-vis stormguard winter coat to keep him warm and his freshly groomed fluff looking its finest! 🐾

(As most know I have a soft spot for a Maltese - Slightly biased as my Alfie is a Maltese💕)

Are your details up to date on the database to ensure they can be reunited should the worse case arise of them going missing? 💭

- We now have a microchip scanner in store so if you want to check your pets chip is still active/not migrated and is working as it should be - Pop into store for a scan over! ✔️

Forgotten who your microchip company database is but want to update your details? No problem, we can find out the company name for you and contact details... so you can get in touch and update details directly with no fuss.

If any wandering little explorers are found unattended close by to the shop - please pop in and we will quickly scan in hope we can help reunite back as soon as possible! 🐾

Our Store Story

Hala Pet Stores is situated on the south side of Lancaster on the Hala Estate, just off the A6 close to Booths market. There are seven shops on the parade with plenty of free parking outside, making it easy to visit. With plenty of fields and a beck surrounding, it makes a perfect dog walk area if you want to bring your pooch with you. We are a dog friendly store so please feel free to bring your pup in for cuddles and maybe a few sneaky treats! The wide selection of products includes pet food, bedding, housing, toys and treats, as well as collars and leads, dog coats and clothing. Their choice of animals varies from week to week but will often include rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, a variety of birds and a range of tropical and cold water fish.

The shop stocks just about anything to do with pets, or if it doesn't it can be ordered in specifically for you at no extra cost. The staff are very knowledgeable and can offer advice on their customer’s pet’s welfare - if they don't know the answer they will find out for you. Small animal/bird boarding is also available.
