Glasson Fertilisers are a nationwide importer and blender of granular agricultural fertilisers. They produce and pack blended, straight and compound fertilisers in their five purpose-built manufacturing plants, for both arable and grassland farmers across the UK.

This week members of the Glasson fertiliser team, along with Wynnstay and Grainco went along to ICL Boulby to visit the polyhalite mine.

We started with a presentation on the history of the mine and the benefits of using polysulphate fertiliser before we all donned our safety gear and headed down the mine to see how the product is mined.

Many thanks to ICL Boulby for hosting us, I think we all had a fantastic day!
