I hope you've all had a wonderful festive period so far 🎄

All the animals enjoyed, presents, extra food and cuddles but they are all still looking for their forever homes.

Beakie and Titch are doing well in their foster home but need a sofa of their own - there is a reduced adoption for these 2.

Mog, Jeep and Tank have recovered well from their neutering and are ready to leave after the 5th January when the sanctuary reopens.

*A LITTLE UPDATE**

I'm home from my weekend away and already back to work at the sanctuary.

Beakie and Titch are returning tomorrow and have a foster home to go to but it would be fantastic if we could get them homed before Christmas. These babies have been through so much and I feel so bad for them 😔

Unfortunately it turned out that the new arrivals in November all had ringworm (its actually a skin infection not worms as the name would suggest). They have been having a bath in a special prescription shampoo twice a week as well as cream applied to the sores and it looks like its all gone now but as a precaution they will be treated for a further 2 weeks. Unfortunately this has also meant they aren't able to be neutered this week and so none of them will be able to leave before I close for Christmas. They are no longer contagious though so you are able to come and meet them to reserve for the new year if you want to.

As a precaution I have also had to bath all the other animals here at the sanctuary, thats 11 other cats and 3 dogs which as you can imagine has been fun, luckily none of them have shown signs of having it. I do operate a strict cleaning policy with bedding being washed at 90 degrees, disinfectanting surfaces daily and hand washing after touching the animals so I'm hopeful everyone else will be okay 🤞

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Lancing Pet Supplies for hosting their pet portrait event today and raising a large amount of money for the sanctuary. You are always so supportive and its greatly appreciated 🙏❤️

Photo is of course of a street cat we found here along with a few others who all looked very happy and well fed. I did however come across some people walking around selling tiny puppies (she said they were less than a month old) who definitely needed rescuing. If I could have brought them back with me I absolutely would 😞

** EMERGENCY FOSTER NEAR LANCING, WEST SUSSEX NEEDED**

Honestly can't believe I'm writing this but unfortunately Beakie and Titch's adopters have decided after 4 days due to personal reasons they can no longer keep these 2 babies 😪

This is absolutely due to no fault of their own but now I must find them a place to go because the smaller kittens are now in the pen and I am unable to mix them. They can stay in the quarantine pen temporarily but it isn't really suitable long term and with Christmas approaching I'm closed to adoptions from the 18th till 5th January.

So if anyone has a room you can give up until I can find them a permanent home or even better a forever home please message me.

All food and litter is provided. They are happy with dogs and older children but Beakie can be a bit dominate with other cats so a foster home without would be better. Thank you 🙏
