The second rescue we would love to introduce you to who are part of our Christmas boxes for rescue buns scheme is Small Haven Rabbit Rescue

Small Haven Rabbit Rescue is a small-scale, ethical rescue based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

They were founded in December 2023 to provide a safe space for bunnies in need. Along with providing advice and support for bunny guardians, to enable them to enrich their bunnies' lives.

The first rescue we are delighted to introduce to you who will be one of our 20 rescues you can buy a Christmas box for are Clement Rabbit Rescue

Clement Rabbit Rescue, a Non Profit Organisation was set up in 2019. The aim was to help neglected and abandoned rabbits and to be their voice.

Every rabbit that comes into the rescue is neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption. Often they have severely neglectful backgrounds and need additional extensive treatment which can cost hundreds, if not thousands in vet bills.

The rescue is completely self funded and donations are crucial in order for the rescue work to continue. Pet rabbits are being dumped in record numbers and without the funding, it is just not possible to save them.

Our Christmas Rescue Boxes are back for 2024 & bigger than ever!

This year, we've personally chosen 20 ethical rescues to receive boxes for bunnies in their care.

Last year, you donated an incredible 172 boxes in just 4 weeks. How amazing would it be if we sent over 200 boxes to bunnies in need of a Christmas present this year?

For every £10 box you purchase, we also donate £5 worth of goodies. So, the bunnies receive £15 worth of presents for just £10. Postage is also free as we cover that.

A reminder about our rescue of the month for October….it is the wonderful

The Rabbit Residence Rescue is a rabbit rescue based near Royston, Hertfordshire. They rescue, rehabilitate and rehome rabbits. They also offer holiday boarding and free advice on rabbit husbandry and diet.

If you were at The National Rabbit Festival this weekend you will have hopefully seen them. They were one of the founding rescues of the festival. They have helped countless rabbits over the years. It’s our pleasure to have them as our rescue of the month this October.

They would be particularly grateful for any donations of forage and treats and enrichment items which can be used for outside buns.

Even £1 will be very much appreciated and it all adds up. You can donate to them through our website donation page (just type ‘rescue’ in the search bar and the link will come up) & at the end of the month we will turn all of your donations into a care package for them with things they need or alternatively, you have the ability to donate something specific from our shop for them. Just leave a note in the comments section saying which item(s) you wish to donate.

Apologies for the delay in posting this. It's been a little crazy the last few days!

We just wanted to say the hugest thank you to everyone who came & said hello or purchased something from us this weekend at The National Rabbit Festival this weekend.

We loved meeting new & existing customers, and chatting about yourselves and your bunnies. Thank you once again.

Congratulations to the whole The National Rabbit Festival team for putting on such a brilliant event every year. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did & we can't wait to do it all again in 2025!

Wild About Bunnies Apple Hay Pellets are delicious, healthy rabbit treats, made with 100% Timothy Hay & unsweetened Dried Apple.

These pellets can easily be broken into smaller pieces.

Please note that these are treat. They should be fed sparingly to rabbits or guinea pigs as fruit is naturally high in sugar.

No binders, sweeteners or additives.

The best things come in small packages!
This beautiful pair of siblings were born in rescue shortly after their mum, De’lacy was saved from T&S meat farm.
They are now two years old.
Noodles & Yoshi could live either inside or outside & are reasonably confident so would suit most homes. They are absolutely devoted to one another & would prefer to stay as a pair rather than live in a group situation.

Did you know that we stock over 100 different forage items? Over 50 of these are Wild About Bunnies individual herbs, flowers, and mixed blends.

Our own forage is dust extracted & hand sorted to reduce respiratory issues, and minimise waste & foreign objects. It's packed in brown paper bags & is available in various weights from 50g sample bags to regular 100g/200g bags to huge 1kg sacks. To select different weights, use the drop down selection on the item listing.
(Larger bulk orders are also welcome).

We update our forage stock throughout the day, so if our website shows a weight as being unavailable, it will be restocked the same day (unless we are sold out of that line). 

Please feel free to always drop us a message first if something says it's out of stock so we can update it for you.
