Lovely new boy Denzel finding a new way to eat hay π€£
Sometimes intros just don't go like I think they will π€£π€¦ββοΈ. This one never even got off the starting line π€£
Louie and willow both here for ligament and soft tissue rehab. Louie arrived in April and has been seen recently by our vet and signed off as good on his feet now.π₯°
Willow has only just started her journey and is having a boot free day today.
Both of them you can see having to use their proprioception skills to navigate the rocks at the top track. It's a very useful skill they are developing that often paddock kept horses lose. It helps them chose good safe footing by watching where they are walking and being aware of each step.
We give plenty of ground touching time for their feet to help the stimulation. But if they get too sore they have boots to rest in.
Little Mike and Ollie π I wonder if they know the same little people love them both π₯°
Mound
Something I love about having electric fencing is I have the ability to cut gaps in the fence when I have a new ideaπ‘ π. This mound was always something I wanted to add. And they LOVE it .
I've tried to capture how they have made their own paths through all the soil piles.
We put loose hay up here sometimes and it's great to watch their backs bending and stretching going up and down.
We will probably move its location , but when we do we will then put wooden posts in and finish off the outer fence.
