Hi folks, the runs are looking good, I’ve just added another SAND pit for your dogs to try and stop them for digging all over the place so if your dog is a digger we now have two runs with a sand pit try and keep them to these runs cheers jim

Hi folks, I’m not pleased just down from the field, haveing spent a hour clearing up dog hair one pile on the Astro turf another one beside the seat in the run and another one halfway up the run where the big tyre stands, I just wish I had seen whoever it was ,they would never be allowed in,LAZY LAZY person they are the type that don’t pick up there poo, or forget there money, so if the person involved is reading this DONT come back,( it’s a husky type dog ) jim

Hi folks,it’s been brought to my attention that some people are opening the gates on runs 2 and 4 to make the dog runs bigger and that means you are takeing over two runs and people are leaveing as there were no empty runs as I think all the runs are all big enough for any dog cheers jim

Hi folks,I am Not happy I spent most o the morning filling the holes in the road with stones, haveing spent the last two days,with the help of Jayne, cutting the grass everybody says it’s looking great,however went back up to the field after lunch, only to find a LAZY bu**er had decided to groom his or hers white dog in the long in three different places I was over a hour picking picking it all up so if you are that numpty PLEASE DONT COME BACk rant over jim

Hi folks, as from Sunday the 1st of June the price is going up to £3 per dog ,this is because the money I’ve spent the past few weeks, with new bits of fencing, shelters , and drains, comes to a good bit o money.
Weekly tickets will be available for £15, these cover from Monday to Sunday. If you want a weekly ticket, simply put the money in an envelope with your dogs name and description (ie. Roxy, German Shepherd) and the dates covered (ie. Mon 3rd June - Sunday 9th) and pop it into the honesty box on your first visit of the week.

Now folks,lm getting a bit fed up with some of our customers, I have two ladies who give me hand to keep this place tidy, and two men to help with repairs , all at a cost, now what to you get for two pounds nowadays, not much so please pick up the dogs poo , and taken water bowls in to runs and leavening them in the runs, I know it’s hot and 45 mins is more than enough ,I spoke to a owner yesterday as the dog would not come out o the shade, the answer to me was it’s only been running for 30 min , I was not asking them to leave as the place was empty so take care jim.

Hi folks, this is the first time it’s happened this year ,it Better be the last, I’m just down from the Play area and one INCONSIDERATE owner decided he would groom there dog ai the top of the long run.and LEFT a pile o brownie coloured fur for ME to pick up, now that dog could be ill with anything ,and another dog would come in and roll on it, if you want to groom your dog in the fresh air please do it in your OWN. GARDEN, not up here jim

Hi folks lost third leg up at the doggy park today ( walking stick with black tape) anybody find it please hang it beside the wee box thanks,NOW on a sad note in the big run ,the one beside the railway. Someone destroyed a very big bench type seat and a very heavy one at that good job I never saw them.to the rest of yous ENJOY jim

Hi folks we will be starting to put the agility jumps up this week, now they are built for dogs, and maybe small kids not teenagers as when they get broken they will be put away, so anybody useing them please leave them the way you found them thank you and ENJOY jim

Hi folks, hope you and your fur baby’s are well', now folks big favour can yous all to take time to make sure you pick up all yous dogs mess ,as my main helper Jayne is away to run in the marathon (26 miles) in JAPAN we wish her well , cheers NOW I went up today and mr stevie wonder must have been in again , his dog had a poo right on the slab right beside the honesty box 5 feet from bucket and 8 feet from loads o poo bags I wish I had seen him , he would not be back , so take care folks summer is comeing cheers jim.

Hi folks, with the weather getting a wee bit better,the runs are getting a bit busier, so I’ve been up a few times a day ,just to keep a eye on things,and tell the owners the rules ,now folks. Between yesterday and today there were five dogs with there owners who said they had been before, but. Had forgotten there money ,now you can’t go anywhere nowadays without money, so if it continues rules will be no money no dogs sorry,bit I’m just a bit fed up with it take care jim

EDIT: All runs are now open

Due to storm damage the top runs and path have been closed, until repairs can be carried out.
Only the runs at the car park end are available for use at present.

Just a wee reminder to close gates behind you. Had an incident yesterday with an escapee because the previous occupant left a gate open at the other end of the run.

Hi folks, I know the runs are a bit muddy just now, there is not much Jayne and myself can do about it, but dog owners you can help by picking up after your dog has pood as I don’t want to shut on wet days, so please pic up, also I have a few dogs comeing up to the park in the dark , now these owners won’t be able to watch there dog, so please stay away in the dark unless you have a good torch with you, also in the dark there good be a accident if you dog saw a rabbit and ran into a fence, as I don’t want to close for for a few weeks jim

We have received a complaint regarding debris being left in the runs, for other owners to pick up.
This is particularly relevant to the owner who uses the run by the car park, who’s dog/dogs destroy a 4 pack of B&M tennis balls on a daily basis and leaves the pieces all over the run, making no attempt to pick any up.
There are buckets in each run for a reason, please use them.
