Apologies for being quiet recently 😳😥 our lovely girls have been hiding away from this rubbish weather 💨☔️❄️☃️!!!! Egg production has slowed down dramatically due to lack of daylight and the little rascals were also eating their own eggs 🥚😂!!!

We have raised our 3 little baby chicks 🐤 they are thriving and settled into the flock nicely!!! 🤍 will be looking for names soon 🤔!!

We will be up and running again after the new year 🥂🥳 and will update the page with egg drops/deliveries etc!!!

For now on behalf of our 13 chickens 🐓 we want to wish you all a happy new year and all the best for 2024!!

Hi guys 😊 we didn’t do an “egg drop” yesterday as we had some customers who were dying to try our eggs but always missed out 😥 so kept them on a waiting list!!! We had 8 boxes yesterday and all our “waiting” customers quickly snapped them up 🥚🩷 we PROMISE we will do one next weekend (can’t do Friday as we have a family wedding) so we will confirm whether it’ll be be the Saturday/Sunday through the week!! So a wee back story to Sadie and Sally. We adopted these two pullets/hens from an elderly man who could no longer care for his flock. We had space for two more so decided to take them in, as who knows where they could end up 🤷‍♂️😮, since getting chickens we have done our research and seen some horrendous things. We ourselves had to give our Cockerell back to our breeder due to a nuisance neighbour who complained (if only we could send him back to where he came from).

We had a brain wave and thought about doing a raffle with a prize draw, with money going to the winner and the rest of the money being donated to a hen welfare charity for caged hens.

Obviously we would need to have enough interest in this to do it though and be able to work out how much a number and how many numbers so that the winner gets a reasonable prize and the charity gets a good donation....its a win win really and gives everyone a wee bit of fun and an interest.

We also have two wee chicks, that's all that hatched....mum is doing a great job of rearing them,and we have another hen stopped laying and decided to sit on 7 eggs, so we may have more hatching in 3 weeks 🥚🥚🐣🐥

EGG drop.....we have 5 boxes of 6 and 1 box of 5.....they have slowed down this week due to the new chicks and the new hens being introduced. Things will pick up again over the next few weeks when the other 4 start laying and things settle......

Hi Everyone, thanks for being patient. We have been really busy this week, we have introduced a further 2 hens 🤦‍♂️, and now have another broody hen on 7 Eggs 🤣🤣!! We will do the egg drop tomorrow, we will hopefully have a good few Ella's Pink Boxes of 6 to go.

We will get pics of the new Hens on later too, and hopefully once the 4 new hens are all settled they will start laying well too and we can get more eggs to more people.
