What a beautiful week it has been, the sun has shone on all of us which has been long overdue. The great thing too is the grass is wet with dew in the mornings which helps to keep the pups cool throughout the day. Some walks did require us to seek out plenty of shade where there was much fun to be had in the forest and in any water sources they could find including bogs and filthy puddles. 🙈

We welcomed new boy Si who joined us for his first walk yesterday.

Happiness used to be advertised in the form of a Hamlet cigar but for me, despite being covered in mud most days, it's getting to spend my days with this brilliant bunch of pups.

Looking forward to doing it all again next week. 😁

We've had a real treat with the weather towards the end of this week with much cooler mornings and some sunshine during the day. Most rain showers were avoided although we got a thorough soaking in Monday's walks.

Despite some 🦊💩 rollers, 🦋 chasers and all round crazies, I really do get to work with some of the best pups. Some like to meander or plod along at their own pace and some like to engage in zoomies. When you have a pack bounding towards you to run circles around you it's best to stand very still and hope you're still standing by the end of the chase 🙈🤣

During one of my cat visits this week I enjoyed an unintended snooze with Gloria, my neck scarf. The gentle purring and warmth round my neck made me sleepy. 😴 I've spent the last few days looking after Ginny and Gloria whilst their family were away. 🐈🐾 I'm looking forward to seeing them again soon.

Happy Friday everyone, here we are again, how time flies. It's been a mixed bag with torrential downpours and plenty of mud for the pups to play in 🙈 and too warm for the coats needed to keep you dry during the rain showers. 😁

Nevertheless, we've had a great week of walks. Welcoming back Coco who's been in fine form doing zoomies and enjoying being chased by Bailey. Baxter found the mud puddle before I could stop him 🙈 and he wiped his muddy paws all down mum's clean clothes 🤣🤣

Drago is settling in well with the pack he joins twice weekly. He's such a handsome boy. Rosie missed out on the beautiful peacock butterflies I spotted today 🦋 and no I didn't drive off with it on my wheel.

Such a lovely happy bunch of pups and it's an absolute joy and pleasure to get to spend my days with them.

You sure see some strange things whilst on the road though and this week I encountered a naked man walking on country roads with nothing but a baseball cap and trainers on, he was also wearing glasses 🤣 he at least had the decency to cover himself with the t-shirt he was carrying otherwise I may have ended up in a ditch 🙈🤣. I have no worldly idea where his trousers might have been 🤷🏻‍♀️ Each to their own I guess.

Oh and I've also been visiting with beautiful boy Zorro whilst his parents are on holiday. He's a vocal lad when it comes to his demands to be fed. 🐈

Happy Friday everyone. The weather this week has been crazy. Jacket on, jacket off, wellies on, wellies off. Hat and gloves on...not quite but I expect we're not too far away from that 🤣🙃

We had some extra guests this week in Travis, Ren & Bo who enjoyed their walks out with new friends.

Toari and Bella are both black labs and wear a red harness so I've had a few mix ups when calling on them.

There are days when I go through every dogs name before getting the right one eventually 🙈

Needless to say they've all had a ball on their walks, many enjoying the muddy puddles created by all this bl**dy rain but we go again next week whatever the weather.

Next week we welcome back Drago who had a trial walk a few weeks back and Coco who had some time out to have some beautiful puppies so I'm very excited to be seeing her out as we have missed her very much on our morning walks.

Happy Friday folks!

We've had a fun week of walks although more than half were in the rain and some soggy doggies needed a thorough drying off.

Domino and Baxter hit it off very well and spent most days chasing each other in the long grass.

Siblings Biscuit and Fred were joined by siblings mum Amber and auntie Toari for puddle jumping and some 🦊💩 rolling.

Samson is doing very well on his morning walks with Isla and Jura.

We will be welcoming very soon Drago the Large Münsterländer who had a trial walk this week and did very well.

We look forward to welcoming g back Otis & Jonty who were on their holidays and were in attendance at their owners wedding last week. Congratulations to Victoria and Stuart. 🎊

Buddy turned 3 this week and celebrated with a cake from Nose to Tail Pet Products.

We will see all our pups next week for more OzWalks adventures.

It's been a beautiful week of walks with a bit more consistency of a few good days. Thankfully it hasn't been too difficult keeping everyone cool in the long grass and seeking out water sources.

We have had a few pups on holidays this week so we look forward to their return next week.

We tried to get some lovely individual shots on our last walk today next to a yellow flower but some chose to sit on it instead of beside it 🙈

We have also been joined by Domino the Sproodle, she is my brother's dog and is staying with Grandma for a short while.

Back to rain forecast for next week but we'll have plenty of fun on our adventures. 🐕

Happy Friday everyone

It's been a lovely week of walks and cat visits this week.

Biscuit had a mud bath, Rosie 🌹 chased 🦋 and Baxter enjoyed playing hide and seek in the long grass which makes a pleasant change from being caked in mud. Coco's babies are now 2 weeks old and I've been to puppy heaven enjoying visits to see them 🥰. Coco's brother Nes likes to keep a watchful eye over proceedings.

Rounding off the week with cuddles with Tilly whilst her family enjoy a holiday.🐈

I'll look forward to seeing everyone next week for more OzWalks adventures. 🐕

OZWALKS are on the lookout for some new recruits to join our pup patrol.

Due to one of our regular pups retiring recently and another regular client moving away, we now have a limited number of spaces available over a variety of days and times.

Please note this is for group walks only as I have no further availability for solo walks.

🐾11am Larkhall based 1/2 hour group walk Monday - Friday up to 2 spaces available

🐾12.30pm Ashgill/Larkhall based 1/2 hour group walk Monday - Friday 1 space available

🐾1.30pm Stonehouse/Larkhall based 1 hour group walk Monday - Thursday up to 2 spaces available.

OzWalks are a well established pet service provider with over 7 years of experience. Dogs of all sizes will be considered but must be able to be walked in a group environment without displaying aggressive behaviours. Ideally dogs should be neutered and bi***es spayed for consideration.

It's been a busy week (not many pics were taken this week, apologies I think I missed out Wednesday's walks) It seems there were more wet walks than dry this week.

We have Otis sporting some greenery and having a swim. Travis joined his cousin Bago on Thursday and we had an exciting end to the week as beautiful girl Coco became a mummy to 5 healthy puppies earlier this evening which was wonderful to witness. ♥️

Well this is a first for me. This evening involved a walk with cats. Their owner mentioned they enjoy a walk round the estate on a Friday eve so I joined them on the driveway for a while before walking away to see if they followed. They did not disappoint and the looks from passers by were thoroughly entertaining 🤣 🐈🐈

And it's Friday!

It's been a busy week this week and the weather has been a bit crazy but that hasn't stopped everyone from enjoying their adventures.

Little Rosie 🌹 has enjoyed some longer than usual walks this week and has especially enjoyed chasing butterflies 🦋 (much to her mummy's disgust as she takes part in the butterfly count) 🙈

We have a family portrait as Amber is reunited with her son Fred, daughter Biscuit and auntie Toari who all enjoy posing for a treat.

Relative newbies Otis & Jonty are settling well into their walk routine and youngsters Buddy and Holly enjoy walks with Elspeth.

Finally our feline friends Dusty and Storm are receiving twice daily visits. They await my arrival giving me that look of where's my food servant 🤣🐈

Today we celebrate 7 years of OzWalks. 🐕🐈🐾❤️

Thank you to all customers past and present for making it all possible.

To think my first clients were 2 kittens 🐈🐈 receiving daily visits and I still provide care for them 7 years on.

There have been many highs and a few lows (mostly weather related) and those who have crossed 🌈 Millie, Hugo, Mollie, Mia, Max, Rocky and Daisy are remembered fondly ❤️

A special mention also to Paris who was retired from walk duty recently but is doing well and has been seen occasionally on walks with her mum.

After a week off, Elspeth and I are very much looking forward to seeing all of our pups for more OzWalks adventures tomorrow. 🥂🐾❤️

I forgot to post pics last week so there is a selection including some from last week

Despite some heavy rain showers this week, we've had plenty of fun in puddles and hide and seek in the long grass.

Jonty and Otis are settling in well to their walk routine. Coco loves doing zoomies and no one can catch her despite Stella's best efforts.

Bago joined us after his groom yesterday, what a handsome boy.

Samson is getting to grips with his new halti head collar and I'm enjoying the slightly more relaxed walk rather than the need for a chiropractor.

Everyone else has been generally well behaved apart from a few 🦊💩 rollers but dogs will be dogs

Ticks are particularly active at the moment so can you please check your pups for any of the little blood sucking blighters. I'm happy to assist if you're not confident in removing these yourself.

Lastly, just a reminder that Elspeth and I finish up for a week's holiday next Friday 7th June. All walks and visits will resume on Monday 17th.

It's been a beautiful week as we welcome Jonty & Otis to group walks. They've done very well with their new friends and we look forward to more walks with them.

We've had a few pups on holiday this week but we've been enjoying the slightly more relaxed pace.

The treat tree is now recognised as a refueling stop and there have been plenty of splashes in the stream to cool the puppers down during the hot spell in the afternoons.

We look forward to welcoming back Walter and Samson next week for more of the same shenanigans.

This week we had 2 birthday boys. Ace was 7 on Wednesday and Nes was 14 on Monday. Both boys have bundles of energy and Nes certainly shows no signs of slowing down. Happy birthday boys 🐾❤️

What a beautiful week it's been. T-shirt weather and a hint of spring. ☀️🌳☘️

We've had zoomies from Coco, butterfly chases with Rosie (her mummy wouldn't approve as she carries out butterfly counts) 🙈 Biscuit aka Rambo enjoyed a mud bath.

Baxter has been without his coat for the last week but still managed to find the muddiest puddle which resulted in a hose down. Lexi had her weekly swim in the stream.

We had a trial walk with Otis & Jonty who will be joining us next week and we look forward to welcoming back Phoebe who has been on holiday.

We will be off in Monday 6th and walks/let outs resume in Tuesday 7th May.

It's been sunshine 🌞😎 and smiles 😁(mostly me) this week.

We've had a busy week and some entertaining walks. Bella and I had a mud wrestle whilst I tried to clean her in a stream, Travis (a former OzWalker before moving to Hamilton) joined his cousin Bago for a couple of walks. Ace ran his coat off and a kind lady followed us to return it. As well as doggy adventures, I also had some cat visits during the week which are a little more relaxing 😁

I'm now away to wash countless towels ready to do it all again on Monday.

Happy Friday

We've had some fun in the sun this week with the odd torrential down pour thrown in for good measure. We were so busy having fun and making the most of the dry weather that I didn't get many pictures this week. Here's a selection of the ones I did get.
We had the return of Biscuit, Amber, Toari, Archie, Georgie and Buddy this week, all of whom had a week's holiday last week. Good to have them back.

We'll be back to do it all again next week with some better weather and less mud 🤞🏻
