Hi there, I'm Eilidh Cunningham, proud proprietor of OzWalks Pet Services and owner of a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog called Isla. My husband and I have recently returned to Scotland from Australia and Isla has made the journey with us. Whilst in Australia I got involved with local pet fostering charities, collecting/making donations for cats and dogs in foster care. I also assisted a local dog

walker with walks during busy walk days. With my passion for pets and a love of the outdoors, it got me thinking that, after 20 years of sitting on an office chair, I should do this, although admittedly, the weather won't always be so pleasant in Scotland. What better time to introduce OzWalks Pet Services having recently returned from a 2 year stay in Australia.

Friday...so soon?!

It's been a glorious week of walks and cat visits this week. Today's temperatures saw us seeking the shade which was very welcome for all.

I'm thankful to be done for the day and cooling down with a cold drink waiting on new tyres being fitted. Hoping for some cooler days next week but until then, here's a selection of this week's shenanigans.

We look forward to the return of Bailey, Amber and Bago who have been on holiday the last few weeks

Happy 1st birthday to Billy the Fearless who in some ways is lucky to have reached it! 🤣🤣 Just kidding, he's an absolute sweetheart but he definitely thinks he's a lion. 🦁

Loki and Lyra are the gorgeous kitties I'm looking after currently. After a crazy day of walks it's lovely to unwind with them.

I'll see everyone next week, have lovely weekends. ♥️🐾

OzWalks celebrates being in business for 8 years this week, officially 1st July. What a quick 8 years it has been and I'm so thankful I get to spend my days with such an awesome bunch of pups, not forgetting my feline friends too.

My very first clients were the very handsome duo Dusty and Storm who I still look after to this day.

Many of the dogs I care for have been with me since the beginning and it's an absolute privilege to be a part of their lives.

We have enjoyed our walks this week despite many road works, road closures and intermittent rotten weather but nothing deters everyone from making the most of it.

We have had the company of Fred who is Amber's son and Biscuit's brother this week. Also loving his walks is Oakley who is just a gorgeous boy with the whitest puppy teeth.
Billy the Fearless (Chihuahua) has been terrorising one or 2 of my regulars but he really just wants to play and be involved in the chase. 🙈

Looking forward to a new set of cat visits starting this weekend 🐈🐈

Oakley is beginning to lose his puppy fur and is settling into his walks well. Jonty managed to find something dead and was so proud of himself when he emerged absolutely covered from head to toe in whatever disgusting carcass he had rolled in. He was promptly dipped in the stream as well as every drop of water I had in the van to try and clean him up to no avail. OMG the flies were horrendous that day 🤣
Whilst I am having a few days off returning to walks on Tuesday, Elspeth will still be carrying out her walks/let outs...unless it's raining which is when she tells me shes resigning. 🤣🤣

With the last of my cat visits now complete, mum and I are enjoying a couple of days break with our pups at Thurston Manor.

Here are some pics of the week that was, the weather wasn't great for much of it but that did not stop the shenanigans. We had some help from my niece on Monday who was visiting from Aberdeen for the weekend.

Something a bit different this week as we are dedicating this post to all the cats I've had the pleasure of visiting this month. It's unusual for me to have so many requests from my regular clients all at once but how can I refuse. They are a great way to start and end my days after walks.

Some just want to know they are getting fed, others want to play and be fussed over and I'm only too happy to oblige.

We have Zorro, Dusty, Storm, Ludwig, Freddie, Julian, Ginny & Gloria.🐈🐈All are very different in character but absolutely beautiful. It has been known for me to fall asleep on the job with a cat purring gently on my lap/chest or neck 🤣 🐾♥️

What another glorious week we've had. A busy week with cat visits a plenty as well as our usual fun packed walks. Plenty of shade allowed them to enjoy a chase or 2. Especially Bailey and Coco who hadn't seen each other in a few weeks.

Our afternoon walks at the wind farm involves frolics in the stream and usually includes a soaking for me.

Next week looks to be a little rainy which although quite welcome, I fear we've become used to the dry warmer weather, but we'll take what comes and enjoy our adventures.

It's been a glorious week with the OzWalks bunch this week.

We welcomed Walter back after a couple of weeks holiday, Phoebe too. We are very much missing Coco, Nes and Drago this week and look forward to seeing them next week.

We have had some lovely walks with plenty of shade and water sources for cooling off in, as you can tell they all made the most of the water.

As we got the morning pups back to the van they got to take their pick of which crate they go into...it's nothing personal Walter 🤣🤣

I'm also very busy with cat visits starting with the beautiful girls Ginny and Gloria. Also this week I will be reunited with Freddie, Ludwig, Julian, Dusty and Storm. 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈

Looking forward to more of the same next week hopefully without the intensity of the ☀️ but the lack of rain is definitely a bonus when it comes to enjoying our walks. 🐾❤️

A short week for us this week as Elspeth and I take a few days off as we head to Newcastle. Normal walks resume on Tuesday 6th May.

We've enjoyed some glorious sunshine this week. Everyone has made the most of it from zoomies among the dandelions to cooling off in streams.

I had a seat on a railway sleeper on yesterday's walk and had 5 dogs jumping all over me, some wanted attention and some raided my treat bag. I emerged from the ambush with an empty bag and my hair a mess ( more than normal) 😁
We look forward to seeing everyone again next week for more of the same with the good weather 🤞🏻🐕🐾❤️

What a glorious week it has been this week. Everyone has had a great time rolling in the grass and cooling down in the shade or whatever water sources we can find.

The long months of miserable days of rain and wind are worth it to spend my days with this amazing bunch of pups, especially when we get some absolutely cracking days to enjoy.

Happy Friday folks. What a quick week it has been and what a difference it makes when the sun is shining (for most of the week at least) Yesterday and today were particularly miserable but no one seemed to mind too much.
Stella worked her way out of the coat I put on her yesterday to have a lovely roll in 🦊💩
Oakley is settling in well with his group walks and doesn't push the others out of the way to get to his treat quite so much. 🤣
Looking forward to doing it all again on Monday (with a little less 🦊💩 though please)

And here we are Friday again 😁

It's been a lovely week if still a little bit chilly but the ground is firming up nicely with the drier weather which makes for slightly less muddy walks. Although if you'd seen the state of me this afternoon you'd think I'd been rolling in it. 🤣

This week we've had new boy Oakley out with some new friends and he has been fantastic.

We had Kira and Drago out on Monday fresh from Crufts. On Wednesday afternoon there were 4 spaniels and 4 labs enjoying their walk at the wind farm. We finished off the week with Drago and Samson in Stonehouse.

Have lovely weekends and I'll see everyone on Monday. 🐾♥️
