Fun ride Threepwood Lauder on Sun 18th Aug 10.00 am. (Level 4 and above only) 10 miles across the hills, approx 2.5hours. Hire £150 plus entry fee, Adults £25 under 16 £10. Pay £50 deposit online now to secure your place, with balance to be paid by way of miscellaneous payment, prior to event.

2Hr Hack Sun 25th Aug 10.00 am Must be competent in canter £70.00 book online now.

Please do not overstate ability, as tis can be dangerous for all concerned. Anyone found not to be of standard will be removed from ride and no refund given.

Riding Hats

In light of today’s events please can we remind all customers aware as per t&c’s of bookings hard hats must be worn at all times whilst mounted.

Hard hats should be upto date with current bhs standards (these can be checked on the website if in doubt) hats should be correctly fitted and replaced if you have a fall.

Beret’s and bowler’s are strictly not allowed and invalidate our insurance. Anyone found to be wearing one risk having their horses removed off them and any future bookings cancelled.

We thank all clients that adher to this as it allows us to continue to support the common riding - failure to comply with these t&c’s will unfortunately result in us having to stop providing horses in future years for everyone involved which none of us want.

We have gremlins in the booking system, no bookings with card or PayPal are clearing as some of you will have found out. If your booking is not for tomorrow, please wait until we post that everything is back to normal to make a miscellaneous payment. We will contact you by email as well.
If your booking was for tomorrow again we will email you but would ask that you bring cash please.

Spring is nearly upon us at last, clocks go forward next weekend Sun 31st.
With the lighter nights, evening hacks are returning every Tue, Wed & Thu. Special offer for 1st two weeks £30. 1st week 6.15pm, 2nd week 6.30pm then 6.45pm from week 3 onwards.

We have added holiday activities for Easter, full and 1/2 day courses and a trek plus.

Update we have managed to sort it ourselves so all is working again 😬😬

Unfortunately we have a technical issue with our internet therefore we are not receiving any bookings or emails currently.

We have been informed by BT that they will hopefully have it fixed by Tuesday.

Please email and book as normal and we will respond as soon as we are up and running.

Any clients coming over the next few days please have your booking printed or ready to view on your mobile before entering the shop as if you have only just booked or are going to subsequently book we will not have a copy.

‼️‼️Attention all Common Riders‼️‼️

Please can we ask all riders to make sure they have booked in for either lessons or hacks prior to ride outs (even if your ride is not until July please do not leave it till last minute to try and ride as from mid May horses are flat out with rides already)

Anyone who has not been upto ride WILL be removed off the list as per booking t&c’s.

Any beginners should be riding twice a week.

Due to the extraordinary amount of cancellations and no shows recently we must remind clients of our cancellation policy. All refunds will incur a £10 admin fee, all refunds will be in the form of a credit to your account.
Up to SEVEN days notice in writing full refund minus £10 admin fee. Up to FORTY EIGHT Hours 50% refund minus £10 admin fee.
Less than FORTY EIGHT Hours No refund.
Please note we cannot swap to other days or times for you, once your account is credited you can book another slot.

COMMON RIDERS:
We are introducing lessons for both new and experienced common riders. There will be lessons on the 2nd & 4th Mondays of the month February, March & 2nd Monday April.
7pm lesson will be aimed at riders not having done a common ride but must be competent in canter.
8pm is for experienced common riders wanting a refresher before season starts.
These will be priced at £35 per lesson, anyone doing all 5 lessons will be credited with the cost of a hack.
