This an appreciation post for my clients and woodys owner in particular today.

Woody is one of my original clients from the very beginning when I first because a dog groomer. He is one of the dogs that made me realise that working with reactive or “spicy” dogs as I like to call them was my forte.
I am So proud of this boy he has grown up so much and to think I could hardly touch him when I first met him to now completing regular full grooms with little to no issues, woody used to freak out at pretty much anything from small hand movements, any physical touch and would let out a horrendous scream in panic just from approaching him with grooming tools. I remember feeling really good about okny bei g able to take tiny pieces of hair off him with some blunt sissors so he wouldn’t get hurt if he were to nip or spin out of fear. Now the worse it can get with him is just some occasional mini panics when over whelmed but we get each other now and he trusts me.❤️
This transformation wouldn’t be possible without all the hard work and training put into him by his amazing owner Ellie. people like you are the best type of people to own dogs like woody because you understand he has some additional needs when it comes to handling and dealing with him and your paiitence and love for him has shines through. You drive a long journey to my salon as do many of my clients and I’m so thankful to have wonderful client who stick by me like my regulars ❤️

Xylitol can be found in a lot of products and it's now being labeled as Birch Sugar because it's extracted from Birch bark. It's toxic to dogs, cats and ferrets.
Check your peanut butter ingredients before you give your animals any and if they get into something they shouldn't have, read the ingredients to know if you should get them to the vet right away!

Happy 9th birthday to one of my very special, crazy, & spicy Clients Chester.
It’s been a long challenging but rewarding journey so far working with you. Your big quirky personality, love for your family and progress with me makes it so worth while.
You have really taught me a lot and helped me improve my skills as a groomer and reaction time 😂👀
You take up a big space in my heart ❤️ and you are most definitely one of craziest dogs I have ever met.
I hope you have many more years of being your crazy self I am so proud of this dog and how far he has come and learned to trust me more and more. ❤️
