Human reactive to Cuddly bear in the grooming salon

Aggressive American bulldog,according to a nervous dog groomer who turned Afia away! I think not! Far too often I hear of so called “K9 professionals” throwing the word “Aggressive” around when in fact the Groomer, vet , physio, trainer and so on are nervous and apprehensive about even coming into contact with your dog whilst having little to no understanding or knowledge of dog behaviour. I think it’s completely insane that any one who is scared of animals would work with them in the first place??? Your nevous energy and lack of confidence transfers to the animal you are handling causing them to wonder why you are nervous and that they also need to be nervous. Working with dogs is not all fluffy cuddles and kisses like it is advertised on social media these are living breathing animals who can’t talk to us they use their body language to communicate. So you need to have some understanding of dog body language in order to be successful in working with them. Afia you are a stunning and beautiful misunderstood girl and I loved every minute of you being in my salon. Afia also has a special little deformed foot which makes her even cuter 😍
