I've been visiting some of my regular clients of late,
just before this rotten wet weather arrived.
I popped in daily to see "my noc turtle" friends 🤣 who were preparing for hibernation and sleeping most of the time.
See if you can spot them on some of the photos? Even I nearly missed them too.

Do you remember these two funny chooks!!!
Well, if not this is John and Sally. ( John is also a female) 😆 ive been visiting them frequently and checking they not been causing trouble at home.
They enjoy their dust baths, eating, chatting, eating nibbles, and foraging for more treats, and then sweet talking me for more. 😆 They are so funny and full of charm.
I could watch them both all day. 🥰

I've been pretty busy this last month, I had the pleasure of visiting Kerra and Tegan again.
Poor Tegan was recovering from a little procedure, but she is always full of energy, love and just wants to play, so it was important to fuss her gently, without hyping her up too much. 😬
Kerra on the other hand, was taking full advantage of this situation, and had full control of the tug over Tegan. Hard not to giggle 😆 😆

Meet Lola. ❤
I have had the privilege of getting to know Lola for some while now. She is a Minature Dashound ,still very young and learning to find her paws. 🐾🐾 🥰 she has such an energetic personality and full of affection.
I always look forward to seeing her. 🧡❤💜

Apologies for lack of posts, I've been incredibly busy with animals of all kinds. 😁
A few weeks ago I was asked back to check in a few times on the absolute gorgoues Kerra, Tegan and Mandu.
The girls absolutely love a good fuss and wicked game of tug of war' and Tegan usually wins 🤣
Mandu also loves the fuss given and I'm always privileged to give it. 🐾❤🐾❤🐾❤🐾

I was asked back to tuck my friends in Boris and Margot into bed at Wonkey Donkey Farm. I love to have a good chat with them both, a good fussing and then say good night, this is what Boris had to say. 🤣🥰❤❤❤🤣😍😍

I've been pretty busy the last few weeks, and it's been great getting hands on. During the weekend of the heat wave, I looked after Jack, Ella and Scooby again.
If you remember from late winter, when I first visited these boys and girls, I had very little experience and knowledge with horses, I still have little experience but everytime I come over here, I'm humbled to learn and get to know about these beauties a little more.
What I will say though, is I take my hat off to all horse owners who have to watch the daily forecast for heat, because of the horse flies. They are just outrageous!!!!!
Horses have these fabulous face masks they can wear to stop the nasties attacking. ❤ I never knew that.
Thank goodness I had Jungle Formula, I would of been eaten alive. Shame they couldn't make one for horses.
Massive thank you to the owners for asking me over again, even when i put the face mask on wrong horse. 🥰 lol 😂

Puppy time ❤❤❤

My first visit with Esther and Monty the Spaniel pups, full of energy and love and also the lovely Ruby a rescued Spanish water dog with webbed feet. 🥰 well known for their strong swimming skills.
These 3 were very entertaining, and I had the best job of building a bond with this gang, and getting to know there cheeky but super affectionate personalities.
We played various activities and they loved Hide n Seek.
I shall look forward to seeing them again real soon.

Had the most "clucking"time looking after these amazing chooks.
Meet John and Sally, these gorgoues ladies (yes John is a lady too 🤣) are so affectionate and very talkative and have the most unique characters.
Sally enjoys having her photo taken as you can see she has got into most of them, but John is more shy of the camera but is absolutely full of conversation. Would love to know what they really saying. Quite possibly laughing at me behind my back 🤣.

They enjoy a good dust bath and foraging around the garden through the plants herbs and grass, some places where they not meant to be too 🙄
They especially enjoyed a few mealie worms which worked a treat, when it was time to get them tucked into bed,and in return I was gifted some eggs by morning. ❤❤❤
Thank you very much ladies and thank you also to the owners for my thank you pressie of goodies, they will go down a treat, super kind of you. X

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't shown up in a while, I've been a little occupied with some little 🐦 feathered friends that needed my help, but also I spent a few days looking after this gorgoues family.❤💜💙❤
Say Hello to Mandu, Lenny, Kerra and Tegan
Mandu is a true Egyptian cat, absolutely gorgoues and I felt like Cleopatra being honoured to look after him and wonderful house mates.🥰
Kerra and Tegan are such gentle, playful and friendly characters, but boy are they fast on there feet i struggled to get a clear photo of them together, 🤣 they were bonkers, they certainly knew how to have a fun time. 😆
Finally Lenny" Cat, who was pretty shy, but was keen to follow me around and see what I was up to.

I had the honour of looking after these charismatic, shy, and very intelligent Shelly" family of tortoises for a few days.
Here is just a few of them.
I'm used to rescuing Marine Turtles washed up at sea, but these guys are so different in so many ways 🐢🐢🐢 so fascinating.

I also had no idea there was so many different species.
The oldest tortoise in this gorgoues family is over 70 years old. 🥰 She can move better than I can too. Incredible stuff. 🤣
So we have Hermann's Tortoise, Marginated Tortoise and Spur - Thighed Tortoise.
And they all have there own adorable characters too.
Now it's getting warmer, they be pleased to get outside in the sunshine and have some 🐢 turtley" awesome fun.💚💚💚

Last week i met up with Murphy and Rummer again for the day. These 2 elderly boys are just adorable, still have loads of bouncing energy, followed up by a power nap, then another round of hide and seek with balls and toy's.🤣
All ears and wagging tails that makes your heart explode. 😍

Apologies for the lack of posts of late.
I've been back with my amazing friends at Wonkey Donkey Farm.
Do you remember Boris and Margot the Khoonie pigs 🐽, the very cheeky and extremely naughty Billy Big Boots 🤣 with his flock of lovely ladies 🤣 and the one and only Archie. 🐈‍⬛
When I first met Archie a few months ago, he was so nervous and incredibly shy, his owners were pretty wortied how he may take to me, but I'm very privileged to say, after regular visits, lots of attention, head rubs and playing games on the landing, he now recognises me when I visit and welcomes me with his handsome charm and super cute vocals. I'm privileged to have built a lovely friendship with this gorgoues cat.

Unfortunately, he still very camera shy, so can never get a decent photo of him. 😆

Last week I met up again with Double Trouble - Luca and Lottie the adorable Bearded Collies.🥰

I spent the afternoon with some glorious sunshine (for a change) playing games up and down the garden, catching and throwing toys. Then Luca decided we should swop roles, so he chased me back around the garden for extra fun.

Who would of thought these 2x tall bundles of hair and fun with very long tongues🤣 can make your heart melt. ❤🧡❤

Do you remember Millie who I introduced you all to around Christmas?
Here she is...

She a VERY nervous cat, and my bonding with her is improving every time I visit her.

Looking after nervous cats is a terrifying ordeal for all cats, and they will scarper out the back door or window before you are even at the front door, so it's important that what I do is positive experience.
So far, i think she sees me as the crazy lady who leaves empty boxes with scrunched up papers with hidden treats somewhere in the very bottom. 😉
I'm always so honoured to be asked to visit Millie, as I know our friendship is important and to gain that little trust everytime.

Finally I can now post you part 2 of my pet sitting at Wonkey Donkey.
So you met Boris & Margot the Khune pig's

Now please say hello to Archie the cat and "Billie" Big Boots with his girls. 🥰

Archie is a very handsome boy, a little shy and nervous at first, but by day 2 i had passed the test and he was as comfortable as csn be.

He would greet me at the door and welcome me with his "paw" some attitude and very happy to let me fuss and interact with him but very hard to get a decent photo of as always on the move. 😅

Billie Big Boots and me had a fun week getting to know each other, Billie being the boss and me being a new face coming in to feed and clean up after them, was an interesting time.
Let's say it was "Hiss"sterical for the first few days starting out our friendship 🤪 but we became the best of buddies by the end of the week, where he and his ladies would greet me gently in his charming vocal way as soon as he heard me coming.
It certainly was a Honk Honk and I loved every minute of.

I have been spending a fantastic week with all at Wonkey Donkey Farm.
Lots of photos and a short video of all the gang.
Had a real Honk
This is one of a few posts, as took plenty 🤣

Firstly, let me introduce you to Boris and Margot the Khune khune pigs.
These guys are the most adorable pigs iv ever met. They so love there food and they crave human attention.
Learnt this week they snore (well and truly) and dream in they sleep. So vocal you would not believe, it makes your heart ♥ melt.
Belly scratches and nose tickles, these pigs will never bore you.

Last week I was asked if I could help with bringing in some beautiful horses.

Say hi to Scooby, Jack and Ella and their feathered 🐓🐔 garden friends.
This was a fun visit for me as not hugely experienced with horses, but bringing these beauties in for their dinner and for the night was a privilege.

Meet Millie. 🐈‍⬛

Millies owner has given me permission to share her story with you.

She is a loving and beautiful girl, who is very shy and nervous due to a bad start in life untill she found her forever home a few years ago.
I have been meeting up with Millies owners a lot over the last few weeks so I could get to know and bond with little Millie more often.

Over Christmas I had the honour of sitting with her and playing all things feline. 🐈🐱 🥰
Which means lots of treats, feathers 🪶 balls, bells, boxes, toys and more treats. 🥰

I'm pleased to say we had lots of fun, this was the moment she allowed me to properly fuss her, the purring just didn't stop. 🐾🐾

I have had quite a few enquiries so far and some more bookings of which I'm excited to do and meet more pets great and small.
Today i took Lara out down the river without slipping over on the roads.
How I managed was sheer luck!! 🤪

Being an energetic Spaniel/Sprocker she gets very excited with new smells, crunching on the leaves and guaranteed to always get filthy. 🤣
Was a great day for seeing Long Tailed T**s fluttering in the trees by the river, what a beautiful day.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Michelle and I live near Launceston. Some of you already know me and know my huge love and deep passion for animals great and small. For the last 30 years I have been working as a health care assistant whilst caring and rehabilitating wild hedgehogs, birds and other wild animals in trouble which is my other passion.

I have a few pets at home with me including our 8 year old Sprocker dog Lara, who is very energetic and my two rescue ferrets Red and Bear, who are very cheeky and can be great escape artists! Over the years I have helped friends, family and locals with looking after their pets whilst they go to work and go on holiday.

Growing up in my early teens, I volunteered my time on a Saturday at our local RSPCA/pet shop based in Southampton, looking after various small animals. My fondest memory was helping to socialise the abandoned puppies and feeding them. This experience made me want to work with animals more, so I later studied Animal Care and Management where I learnt a lot more about our furry best friends and a lot of other animals, like dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, guinea pigs and hamsters along with some curious insects!

I am also well-known for my work with the British Divers Marine Life Rescue and as a wildlife rehabber for swifts and other hirundine birds.

I am now set up to do pet sitting professionally. I am fully insured, have references and have a full enhanced DBS check so your best friends will be safe and well, and you will be rest assured with me.
