❌ RAPESEED! ❌

It’s that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the midst to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!

Rapeseed is extremely poisonous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.

Rapeseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:

❌Haemolytic Anaemia
❌ Blindness
❌ Damaged Nervous System
❌ Digestive Disorders
❌ Breathing Problems

Even walking through these fields should be avoided! In June 2019, a dog was reported to be suffering from severe open wounds after running through a crop of rapeseed.

Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning!

Whether it be mince pies, Christmas cake, Christmas pudding or Panettone - all of these yummy treats do or can contain raisins. Raisins are toxic to dogs and should definitley be avoided. If your pet helps themselves to any of these things please contact us straight away. Best kept for us to enjoy! 😋

An enrichment lunch today for Gino…some of his raw tea has been stuffed into a hoof and then popped in the freezer, so he can enjoy a frozen treat that will keep him busy for a while! 🐶🫶🏼

Meaty Bubbles now in stock!!! Which flavour would your dog (or cat) choose?!?! Gaby & Gino have done the taste test with cheese bubbles and I have to say…they went down pretty well!! Great fun in the garden, safe and non toxic for dogs licky tongues!! No lingering smell either, cause, I loveeeee cheese…but you know!! 🧀😷😆

Some dogs like to inhale their food rather than enjoy the experience…then go and throw it up 2 minutes later! Throwback to the very first time Gino & Gaby had their tea frozen in a Licky bowl! Took them a little while to work it out, great fun for them and stimulating, also it allowed them to eat a lot slower instead of gulping it down. I filled these with their raw food with added raw chicken foot and blueberries, then popped it in the freezer for a couple of hours!
