🌊☀️🌈ISLES OF SCILLY HOLIDAY DIARY – By Chester & Quinn 🌈☀️🌊

Chester: The boat over was… let’s just say wobbly. 🌊🛥️ I clung on for dear life (okay fine, I sulked dramatically), but we survived! Once my paws hit the Scilly sand, I forgave everything. New beaches every day, sandy zoomies, and even some rock-hopping adventures ! … we even made some new doggy friends to play with - this place is absolute paradise! 🐶💨

Quinn: Personally, I thought the big boat was an exciting roller coaster — 10/10 excitement, would do again! 🐾 Since then, I’ve been leading our off-island expeditions like a true explorer. We’ve conquered ALL the off islands, splashed in the sea, rolled in the sand, and supervised plenty of tea and cake stops (humans = cake, us = crumbs if we’re lucky 🍰👀). The Isles of Scilly are basically one big playground and I never want to leave. 🏝️💛

Best of all? We’ve had so much time with Mum AND Grandma! 💛 Extra cuddles, extra snacks (thanks Grandma 👏), and double the attention — exactly how life should be.

🐾 Our Holiday Ratings:
* Beaches: 100/10 🏖️🐾
* Tripper Boats : mum says we are now “professional boat boys!” 🚤
* Cake: unfairly hoarded by humans 🍰😳

Woof and Wander is now closed until Sept 18th – me, my mum, and my fluffballs are off to the Isles of Scilly!

Fun fact: I actually lived there for 10 years, went to school there, and still think of it as “home” 🏝️… but I haven’t been back in 3 whole years, so its a very exciting holiday. There will be lots of walking, boating, catching up with some of the best people and definitely lots of relaxing!

“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to WrestleWoof LIVE from daycare!”

In the golden corner we have two champions of chaos — weighing in at 100% fluff and powered entirely by zoomies.

In the red corner, we have OG, long term standing champion, Mrrrrrr Ton… and in the blue corner, we have up and coming star, new boyyyyy Billllyyyyy 💁🏻‍♀️.

Round 1: A textbook pounce from Ton, sending the crowd (me) into wild applause 🐾👏

Round 2: A swift counter from Billy, with the ultimate spin move, tail working like a helicopter 💨

Round 3: An almighty takedown, both goldens rolling, tumbling, and refusing to tap out 😅

But what’s this? Both fighters are down… dramatic pause… aaaand they’re back up for another round of golden mayhem! 💛

✨🐾 🌸 RAFFERTY’S BIG WEEKEND TAKEOVER 🌸 🐾✨

Hi hoomans, it’s me… Raff! 👋🏼

I’m having the BEST weekend ever at my sleepover and thought I’d tell you all about it.
This weekend has been all about but not limited too:

🌳 Forest walks galore – so many sniffs, so little time!
🍔 I even went OUT for lunch like a proper gentleman… and pulled my very best puppy-dog eyes 👀. Worked a treat – I scored myself a bit of burger. Absolute result.
🐶 Hung out loads with my best pals Chester & Quinn – we’re basically a squad now.
🍖 Treats? Bones? Ohhh yes, I’ve had plenty of those (10/10 would recommend).
🛋️ And when I wasn’t being adventurous, I perfected my “upside-down-on-the-sofa” nap pose. Very flattering, if I say so myself.

Apparently I was “the best boy” all weekend… but honestly, was there ever any doubt? 😉

💁🏻‍♀️🙏 Boys and Their Balls 🙏💁🏻‍♀️

This one’s for the lads…

From now on, Woof and Wander will no longer be able to accept adult entire males for daycare or boarding. While I love every single character that joins the gang, the hormones that come with staying “intact” can sometimes make group life a little tricky.

It’s not about being a “naughty dog” — it’s just biology! Entire males are more likely to:

🌟 Display competitive behaviours with other males due to testosterone.
🌟Show persistent sexual interest in females, even if they’re not in season.
🌟 Attract unwanted attention or challenges from other dogs.
🌟 Develop strong marking habits that aren’t ideal in a shared environment.

To keep daycare safe, calm, and fun for everyone:
🌸 Adult ad-hoc or occasional attendees must already be neutered in order to join us.
🌸 Regular daycare youngsters will be asked to be neutered between 1–2 years of age if they’d like to continue attending.

This approach allows young dogs time to mature while ensuring the group remains balanced and stress-free.🫠

Every dog is an individual, so this won’t be a one-size-fits-all rule. Each boy will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, with their wellbeing — and the wellbeing of their friends — always coming first.

I know this might be disappointing for some, but my priority will always be a happy, relaxed environment where every dog can enjoy themselves to the fullest.

Hiiii it’s me, Winnie 🐾✨ I’m 14 weeks old and I just started daycare at Woof and Wander and WOW… best. thing. ever. 🐶💖

So far I have:

🦴 Stolen everyone’s hearts (sorry not sorry)
🐕 Made a whole gang of new besties
🐾 Perfected my “puppy eyes” for extra snacks (works every time 😏)
💤 Found the cosiest nap spots – professional snoozer right here
💕 Collected ALL the cuddles (might actually be a world record…)

Daycare life = 10/10. Highly recommend. Now please sort me out another belly rub. 🙃🐶

My diary is now open for 2026 and I honestly can’t believe how quickly it’s already filling up! 🐶💖

As you know, I do have a limit on boarding numbers so that does mean popular times (school holidays, bank holidays etc.) fill up fast – and some are full for next year already! 🤯

So, before you book your own holidays ✈️ please, please check in with me if you’d like your dog to stay. If you have specific dates in mind, I’d hate for you to book flights and things and then find out I can’t fit your pup in.

Looking ahead, based on the last couple of summers, I’ll also be taking some time off myself at the beginning of August (exact dates TBC) 🌞

I honestly can’t thank you all enough – being this busy, with so many amazing and loyal dogs and owners, makes me incredibly proud and grateful.

🥹🐾 Every waggy tail, sandy paw and cuddle makes what I do the best job in the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 💕

🌺🌟🌈 POPPY 🌈🌟🌺

This week me and the gang had the absolute pleasure of looking after Poppy, a 4-month-old Cockerpoo pup, while her humans went on holiday. 💛

Poppy might be tiny, but oh my, she’s brave! She threw herself into every adventure, made besties with dogs - big and small, and proved to be the polite little houseguest every boarding paw-rent dreams of. 🐾

From paddock zoomies to snuggles, she took it all in her stride – and honestly, she’s completely stolen my heart. 💕

We’ll miss your waggy tail, Poppy – can’t wait to see you again soon! 🐶🌿
