🐾 A Day in the Life of Bramble 🐾
 Hi, I’m Bramble! 9 years young, cuddle specialist, food enthusiast, and certified good girl.

Here’s what a day in the life looks like for a classy girl like me:

⏰ Wake up → immediate cuddles (10/10). 🍗 Breakfast → best moment of the day. 🐕‍🦺 On-lead walk → I’ve got a heart condition, so staying on the lead keeps my excitement levels safe… but I still sniff EVERYTHING. Literally every blade of grass 😅.  🎓 Spend the day being polite, adorable, and hoping for another snack.

Cuddles: 100/10 Food: Infinity/10 Good behaviour: Obviously 11/10

Life might be on the lead, but my heart (the slightly overexcitable one) is full every day. 💕🐾

🌟🎤 WWE – WRESTLE WOOF LIVE: ROUND 4 — TODDLER TAKEDOWN EDITION! 🎤🌟

“Welcome back, ladies, gentlemen, and teeny tiny toe-beans, to WrestleWoof LIVE — where the pups are tiny, the moves are wobbly, and the chaos is absolutely adorable!” 🐾💥💕

In the squishy, sunshiney corner, it’s Baby Ozzy — the 15-week-old golden retriever with baby bounce, floppy feet, and the concentration span of a raisin! 🌞🐶✨

Aaaaand in the curly-chaos corner, it’s Winnie — the six-month-old cockapoo powered entirely by zoomies and questionable decisions! ⚡🐩💗

✨Round 1:
Ozzy toddles forward with a gentle gum nibble, while Winnie responds with a quick boop to the snoot. Baby moves only — soft, silly, and slightly confused. 💛💗

✨Round 2:
Winnie tries a little hop-pounce, misses, spins, and sits on her own paw. Ozzy flops over in solidarity. Dramatic. Wobbly. Iconic. 😆🐾

✨Round 3:
Both pups go for the classic toddler tumble — flopping into a fluffy cuddle pile. No winners, just wiggles. 👶🐶👶🐶

The ref (still me) calls it: A DOUBLE BABY DRAW! 🥇🐾
The crowd (also me) cheers wildly as the tiny titans trot off for snacks and nap time. 🍼🦴💤

🌟 SOME OF THE IMPORTANT BITS 🌟

Hey lovely humans! As many of you know, Woof and Wander has been bursting at the seams with waggy tails lately — which is absolutely wonderful… but it does mean we need to get a teeny bit stricter with bookings so everything runs smoothly. 💛🐶

✨Ad Hoc Days

If you need ad hoc days for the following week, I need to know by Friday afternoon at the very latest.
I’m now full every single day, and I’m finding myself holding spaces for pups that then don’t come — which means I’ve had to turn other doggos away. And honestly, that breaks my heart (and theirs!). So from now on:

📅 Ad hoc requests in by Friday afternoon = secured spot
⏳ Anything after Friday = that space may already be gone!

✨ Weekend Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times

Weekend timings for boarding dogs stay exactly the same as weekdays:

⏰ Drop-off: 7:30am – 10am
⏰ Pick-up: Any time before 6pm

Arrival and collection times will need to be confirmed when booking.
If pick-up is after 6pm, the evening overnight rate is automatically added.

Thank you all for understanding and for keeping Woof & Wander running happily, smoothly, and full of joyful paws. Your pups are my world — and good organisation keeps the chaos cute, not chaotic. 🐾💕

🌟 Star of the Week! 🌟

This week’s top dog goes to none other than the fabulous Margot! 💕

Margot’s been on her holidays with us this week, and what a few days it’s been! I’ve known this gorgeous girl for about 4 years, and she’s come such a long way — especially in the last year or so.🩷

She’s always had plenty to say (mostly shouted directly into everyone’s faces 😅), but she’s learning that there’s more than one way to make friends! These days she plays beautifully (albeit a little loudly sometimes) joins in the fun, and even takes it upon herself to referee the wrestling matches — making sure everyone’s playing fair, of course! 🐶⚽️

We’re so proud of how far she’s come — from unsure to unstoppable, Margot, you’re an absolute star 🌟💛

🍺☘️🩷 GUINNESS 🩷☘️🍺

🐾🐾 Hewo furiends! It’s me — Guinness the Berner pup! 🐶 I’m 15 whole weeks old and just started my big daycare adventures at Woof and Wander! 💚

I got mahoosive paws (they make the ground go thump-thump!) and everyone says I’m gonna be a super big bear doggo one day 🐻💪

I’m still a lil’ shy bean, learning all the smells and sniffs, but I’m being so brave and trying hard to make furiends. The hoomans say I’m settling in pawfectly — lots of cuddles, sniffs, and even some baby zoomies today! 🐾💨

It’s been a bit of a sad week here ‘cause a very special pup called Shadow crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈💔. I never met her, but I think she left behind lots of love for me to find. There has been lots of tears so I’m wagging my tail extra big to bring some smiles back. Shadow taught everyone what love looks like — I’m just here to add some slobber and fluff to it 💛🐾

💔🌈😇 Shadow 😇🌈💔

Our beautiful golden girl gained her wings to rainbow bridge yesterday, and our hearts are broken.

Shadow wasn’t “just” one of our boarders — she was family. Every single dog that comes through my door becomes part of my pack, part of my heart… and losing one never gets easier. It’s honestly the hardest part of what I do.😥

Shadow was pure class. A true queen in every sense — gentle, strong, full of character and warmth. An older lady with arthritis, but you’d never know it most days; she took life in her stride, with that proud husky spark that never faded.💁🏻‍♀️

She loved her paddock patrols, keeping everyone in check with those sassy, unmistakable awoos that made us all smile. 🥹 The other dogs adored and respected her — she carried herself with such quiet authority, yet she was soft as anything when she wanted cuddles (and wow, did she give the best cuddles).🩷

She was our golden girl VIP, always happy to snooze for hours after a busy morning, always first to remind me when it was dinner time 😂 She filled every moment here with love, presence, and that unmistakable Shadow energy that made her so special.

I adored her. Truly. She meant the world to me — they all do — and it’s so hard knowing she won’t be trotting through the gate next week for her holidays like we’d planned. I will always cherish our last cuddle and will think of her often 🫶🏻.

She fought so bravely, right until the end, and she’ll always be remembered with so much love. Sleep peacefully now, you beautiful girl. 🩷 Thank you for the love, the laughs, the sass, and the cuddles. You’ll always be part of the Woof and Wander family. I’m sending all my love and hugs to your family.

🙏🌸🌟 OPENING HOURS 2026 🌟🌸🙏

A little update for the new year 🐾

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share a quick update as we head into the new year. From January onwards, my Launceston daycare will be closed on Fridays.

Fridays have always been a much quieter day, and with the extra travel involved, it’s simply not cost-effective to keep the daycare open on that day. This small change will help keep things running smoothly and allow me to focus on providing the very best care and adventures throughout the rest of the week.🙏

For my Newquay customers — good news! I’ll still be able to accommodate daycare on Fridays, as we can have lots of Newquay beach and coastal adventures instead! 🐾🌊

And for any boarding dogs that would be dropped off/picked up on a Friday, this will now take place at my Newquay home.💁🏻‍♀️

Thank you all so much for your understanding and continued support — it really does mean the world to me (and the dogs!) 💛

🌟🌟🌟 STAR OF THE WEEK 🌟🌟🌟

Every week we are going to highlight a star of the week… and this week our star of the week is…

🩷 LUNA 🩷

Luna (along with her sister Tara) haven’t been to daycare or had a sleepover for a while, and came this week for a weeks holiday.
Sometimes Luna can struggle slightly in busy social situations, and can get overwhelmed.
This time, we have really worked with her and have learnt her signals and vibes, to truely understand her emotions and her triggers 🙏.
With a mixture of love, cuddles and plenty of solo down time, Luna has really thrived this week, and come on leaps and bounds. She’s even made some friends and has had a blast being chased in the paddock. 😍.

Well done Miss Luna, we are very proud of you!

🐾🤭💁🏻‍♀️THE BULLY BRIGADE TAKE DAYCARE 💁🏻‍♀️🤭🐾

Hi everyone! It’s us — Ethel, Elsie, and our big brother Dave! 💥

We’ve just had our first ever sleepover and daycare adventure at Woof and Wander, and oh wow… what a time we had!

🐶 Ethel here — I discovered daycare comes with so many interesting things to chew. Toys, blankets, corners of… well, let’s just say a few surprises. Don’t worry though — every time someone caught me mid-chomp, I gave my best “sweet innocent angel” smile 😇 Works every time.

🐾 Elsie speaking! I didn’t have time for chewing — I was way too busy wrestling and playing with EVERY dog I could find! Big ones, small ones, sleepy ones — if it wagged, I was in. I may or may not have turned the paddock into my personal wrestling ring 💨💪

😎 And me, Dave. I mostly supervised the chaos. My sisters bounced around like tiny tornadoes while I chilled, watched the madness, and made sure they didn’t cause too much trouble. Someone’s got to be the responsible one, right?

We had the BEST time — new friends, loads of zoomies, and so many cuddles. Can’t wait to come back to Woof and Wander for round two! 💕

🎅CHRISTMAS AT WOOF AND WANDER 🎅

This year I’m doing things a little differently! Instead of giving out my usual daycare dog gifts (I know they’ll all be spoiled at home anyway 🐾), I’ll be donating to Many Tears Rescue, where my lovely Quinn came from ❤️

They’re in real need of bedding, jumpers, towels, toys and treats — literally anything dog-related! So I’ll be using my gift budget to buy items from their wish list and send off a big parcel before Christmas.

If you’d like to join in, I’d be forever grateful! 🩷
Please drop off any dog bits before Friday 12th December, so I can include them in the box.
(The would love dog treats/food too but please make sure all bags are sealed and any dog food is in a tin 🙏).
