What a day yesterday! Once again a huge well done to all our competitors we had a great turn out of shearers from all over England and wales and plenty of sheep to keep them busy!
A special well done to Nick Greaves for winning the Open final, Nick has been having a great year at the shows so far and is attempting the 8hour lamb world record on 3/8/24 at his home farm in Staffordshire. The record currently stands at 754 lambs shorn in 8hours!!
Well done also to Henry Mayo who travelled all the way down from Dorset and won the seniors!

Great first day at the Show! Well done to all of our competitors and Thankyou to the farmers who provided the sheep for the day, they were lovely strong hogs and very much full of life 😄

Entries for this years show are now closed! Due to the number of sheep we have I cannot take any late or on the day entries due the high number of entries. It looks set to be a good competition! See you all next week!

I am looking for a couple of helpers to move sheep around on Thursday and Friday for the shearing competitions. You will be paid £60 per day and have tickets for the show. If you are interested please message me.
