Research the breed and if your still unsure contact your local groomers and ask for advice we’re always happy to help.

Try not to bath at home ✅
Get them booked in as soon as possible for a introductory session ✅
Brush daily ✅
Make grooming at home fun ✅

Us groomers are here to make your lives easier and by doing that it makes our lives easier and the dog doesn’t and won’t fear the grooming salon.

If this needs to happen it’s not the end of the world we can just start over and hair will grow back.

Good evening all.
This is a must post.

Our current customers know how dog grooming works.
You have your dog groomed and then you have it done again, again and again.
That means that your dog NEEDS a haircut regularly.
We have very good customer base....actually we have the BEST customers and the BEST dogs in our area...and we are more than proud of it.
After New Year 3 dog groomers in our area retired...YES 3 businesses less 😳
That means that these people are looking for someone to do their dogs on regular basis and we do try to accommodate extra dogs.
This causes a lot of new bookings and being extra busy.
We already work 6 days a week.
We can't do MORE days!
So the point of this post IS :
IF YOU WISH TO STAY WITH US ALWAYS PRE-BOOK ON YOUR LAST VISIT 1 OR 2 APPOINTMENTS.
Otherwise you won't get the date and time which suit you.
Thank you for keeping us so busy.
We love doing our nieces and nephews 😍

We raised an amazing £120 👏
The money 💰 went to Dog Trust Ilfracombe and to Houndsinpounds.

Supply prices have rocketed 🚀 since Brexit and Covid 19 as well as utilities.
For me to enable the same quality of products and skill involved in grooming your pets, the price increase is unavoidable.

Apple cider vinegar labelled "with the mother " can be useful when bathing mild wounds that are not open.
It can also help itchy skin or mild rashes at a 50:50 dilution as long as the area isn't sore or raw.
It can also be used orally or diluted to clean your dog's ears to help with yeast infections,ask your vet if it would be suitable for your dog 🐕🙂

HOTSPOTS what are they?

A hotspot is an area of wet eczema that can become smelly with a discharge and may require medication such as antibiotics.

Sometimes they have an underlying cause and are often more commonly seen in dogs with allergies.

Self trauma can lead to a hotspot and some common causes are full a**l glands, flea or tapeworm.

One of natural remedies for relief from this condition is to apply cold black tea to the area.
Black tea has tannins that dry up the wound, stop the infection, and help it heal.

Always check with the vet!
