The dreaded p**p post! 💩💩💩💩

The field has been super busy these last few weeks (which is great to see) and there is an increased number of forgotten p**ps left lying.

I trailed round the field today with my kiddies and picked up over 30 bags of p**p. I have been doing this regularly for a while now and it’s the same every time I walk round. I have watched numerous people over the weeks stand or sit at the bench on their phones and not pay attention to their dogs whilst they do the toilet. Please keep an eye on your dogs and if you see someone else’s p**p I would appreciate if you could grab it as you pass. Someone else may collect your dogs p**p for you. We have had a couple of unhappy customers due to the amount and I don’t blame them as it is getting out of hand.

This field is there for everyone to enjoy but it’s not fun if you are having to dodge p**p all the time. If you forget poo bags, please come over to the kennels and we will provide you with some.

Thank you for reading and sorry to nag about this. Just don’t want anyone to be unhappy and everyone should enjoy their time in the field.

On another note has someone lost a wee dog collar. It was lying at the side this morning. I’ll post a pic in morning.

🌟IMPORTANT PRICE AND SLOT TIMES CHANGE🌟

I have never increased the prices for the field since opening 5 years ago.
We have been asked many times for half hour slots. So we have provided just that!! You may now book half hour slots. If you wish to book an hour you will have to select 2 half hours this will then generate a discount.

Half hour -£6.50
Subsequent half hour slots -£5.50

You can now book a half hour slot, or 1 hour or 1.5 hours and so on…

Saturday 22nd June at 11am - we have organised a play date for any dog that you feel would class as a large breed. Collie size and up.

£5 per dog, first come, first served basis. Your dog must be sociable with other dogs.

The northern lights I was cutting the grass in the field. What a beautiful night! Finally finished first cut at 11.30 ❤️

I had my littlest Apprentice assist with grass cutting this week. I have been at this for the last couple of days stealing an hour here and there! This is a really slow process as the grass is soaking underneath so it will take 3 cuts to get it good. The field is now walkable without getting lost or losing your small dog. Sorry for taking so long to get it done! I’ll try finish first cut tonight if not tomorrow morning and hopefully will get second cut tomorrow too!

LARGE DOG MEET -Sunday 28th at 12 noon
(Labrador/retriever, German shepherd, giant sunder, Great Dane etc)

MEDIUM DOG MEET - Sunday 28th at 1pm
(Spaniels, Staffies, British bulldogs, collies etc)

Book your slot now. Please remember, your dog must be sociable with other dogs to attend this. Be sensible when choosing which one to join.

Up to 10 dogs. Each dog must be paid for.

This is a lovely way for your dog to meet some new pals but also for humans to make a new pal too. Don’t be shy, get booking!

We decided to try a little something new this year, and have arranged a couple of meets.

LABRADORS /RETRIEVERS - 20th April at 10am

SPANIELS - 21st April at 10am

The meet up will be a maximum of 10 dogs.
your dog MUST be sociable with other dogs.
You must book each individual dog on the booking system.
