Do any of our lovely customers, or their friends, feed a raw diet of Natural Instinct? We are offering a range of foods at 50% off RRP to clear way for new products.

These include a mixture of ’complete’ foods suitable for dogs and some ‘pure’ foods suitable for dogs and cats. We also have a quantity of puppy.

Due to the cost of living crisis and prices of anything and everything rising. We have taken the difficult decision to… keep our prices ❄️Frozen❄️

Why? Well…

1 - We are a family run business so can keep our costs low.
2 - We fixed our energy prices long before all this happened for as long as we could so our operating costs haven’t really changed.
3 - 95% of our customers supply their own food.
4 - We feel that if we don’t need to put the prices up… we shouldn’t.

Why choose Cairnview?

1 - Our care of your family is second to none.
2 - Our prices, at £15 per night (collect after noon on the day of collection, an £8 charge applies).
3 - No minimum stays.
4 - Our flexible pick up and drop off times. We know it’s hard to pass our door at a specified time so we help where we can.
5 - All dogs are walked per household and we will never pack walk. Not all dogs are comfortable in this situation so we never do.
6 - All walks are on our private 4.5 acre property so your pets will never come in to contact with someone who shouldn’t be there.
7 - Our kennels are split across 2 blocks which allows for nervous dogs to be housed separate to excitable ones.
8 - Our safety and security record won’t be beaten.

*Customer Notice - Cairnview & The Long Dog*

It’s been a manic few weeks for us but we’d like to take the time out to thank our many fantastic kennel and cattery customers for their continued support across uncertain times.

We’d like to ensure you all that although we have taken on a new business, your pets comfort and happiness at the kennels and cattery is of our utmost priority.

Manning levels shall not change at the cattery, Nadia will still be the 24/7 face of Cairnview with Jamie scurrying around in the background fixing up and maintaining the facilities. The Long Dog will remain fully staffed with a full time business manager in place to allow this with Jamie frequenting for odd jobs 🔨 🔨 🔨.

Busy times but exciting things to come...

To all our Facebook family, friends and customers...

Unfortunately, due to government wording, boarding kennels and catteries do not fall under ‘accommodation’ as a classification.

What does this mean?

It means that boarding kennels and catteries are not eligible for a single grant since the original funding rounds back in March/April last year.

Self employment aid aside, facilities such as ours are on their own...

We would be most grateful to all if you guys could sign and share this petition far and wide...

P.S. We have written to our MP and the 8 regional MSP’s and they have made representations to government.

We ask that Boarding Kennels and Catteries are recognized as directly and severely suffering from the impact of the Covid travel restrictions and be given access to support in the same way as the travel and hospitality industries.

We’re a family operated kennels where your fluffy family members are treated as one of ours...

Ledi has been coming to us since she was a puppy so her and Evie have grown up together (If your dog is not so good with kids, we can manage that too 🤓)

Our prices are £10 per day for a single household and £15 per day for a double.
