Update on Orchid - she’s not been an easy horse to start. The first 2 weeks I’ve been working on her rearing behaviour to handle on the ground. But she’s been good to ride and she’s finally improving 🤠

Orchids 1st week of being started. She’s not been easy, has had rearing issues whilst being led. Also bucking with rope pressure on her body, in preparation for the saddle and girth area which is the vital part to get the buck out of them before we put a saddle on. She’s slowly learning…

Rebel update - After a week of doing groundwork I have slowly started to lean half on him. This is where his learnt behaviour of bucking started. So in this video it shows me putting him in his place, then repeating the process of mounting him.
