First lesson of 2025 and it was much better than expected.

3 very different horses doing some poles after the Ice Age.
All needing very different riding approaches 😬

Otis - he needs trust to go forward. Nice loose rein and a cuddle with the leg, and he'll take you anywhere you want 🥰
Big bouncy guy, which makes you engage your lower core and swing your hips!
Echo - FRESH! She needs a good canter out that's for share. Balance is key with her. You must stay still and ask politely. Never demand. Leg must be on at all times so you feel it in your thighs massively!!

Athea - recovering from a tendon injury and is taking the next step in her rehab. She needs you to hold her uphill so she puts her weight behind. Your lower back must engage with your whole core to keep her from falling on the forehand. I'm hoping some pole work will help her athleticly and build that bum muscle naturally 😇

My lovely little Percy Pony is looking for another new little best friend to love him.

He already has the most amazing people visiting him during the week, but to keep him exercised and living his best BIG horse life, I like him to tick over each day.

He is looking for 1 child to love him on a Saturday and Thursday only.
However, we have a sharers WhatsApp group where if you're on holidays, etc, you can swap days or add days.

Percy is the best lead rein pony ever. An actual HOYS winner 💁‍♀️
He can be a little shy until he gets to know you. But you can win him over with treats and cuddles.
He has taught 5 children to canter now!!
He can jump, but this would need to be under tuition to start with.

I am looking for someone who can tack up alone. I will not be available to teach you on a day to day basis. I would also like someone long term to love him, not just for a few months.

Based in Headley near Epsom Downs with fabulous facilities.
The yard is like a mini family and very friendly and welcoming.

No yard duties but a financial contribution of £200pcm
Lessons are available at an extra cost.

Very honest advert - please read full ad before messaging.

Otis has been with me for rehabilitation. I do not offer sales livery so this advert is written on behalf of my client who has made all the right decisions for this horse.

Otis was bought unseen and unfortunately suffered with ulcers. After this is behaviour changed and my clients set up is just not the right place for him.

I have worked with him now for nearly 6 weeks and I can safely say he is changing. However I would say he suffers with PTSD. Any reminders of my clients yard seem to change his mood immediately and he becomes very unaccepting.

This boy really needs a fresh start in and understanding and fun home.

Otis is proving to show he adores hacking. He can be "looky" but with a confident rider he gets past things.
I have hacked him alone and in company.
However he is still not a fan of the school and doesn't want to move forward. I have got him trotting around happily but in the time I have I am not sure we will get much further. This will improve in the right environment.

Otis was previously stabled at a riding school without hacking and so I believe this has triggers for him when it comes to schooling.

Otis loves to jump and this is where I feel he will excel in the future. Hacking and popping fences!! He showed him self to be honest and bold.
Currently with his rehabilitation he is not jumping fit though.

He is a striking coloured who also in time could go on the show ring and give someone a lovely ride.

Otis has a MASSIVE trot. He is big and bouncy and is not a novice ride at all.

This lovely lad has really stolen all the hearts at my yard with how much he has come on in a short amount of time. I unfortunately don't have space for another of my own and for that reason my client has decided to sell him. This is for the best as his old set up and finances do jot make is visible for him to have a happy life.

I charge per job I do. Not per hour. This is key qhwn booking with me as it means you get exactly what you ask for. Rather than me running out of time and leaving things not done!

A deposit is taken, so your booking is always secured, and I have clients throughout Surrey who can shout about my reliability.
I also take on emergency situations at the last minute if I'm able to. I have run a whole yard previously with just a drawing on a map and a text message!

Goodbye November 💕

It was a quiet month in the grand scheme of things.

Otis joined for some R&R
Athea has had all her checks and fingers crossed that her rehab will get her where she needs to be!
Echo has had a quiet month after her and my mini break, and it was our anniversary!
Baby Shark has learnt some good handling skills.
Nibber is living his best fluffy retired race horse life.

Introducing the lovely Otis 😍

He's been with me a week and has come for a bit of rehab and retraining (R&R)

Loads of improvements already, and I can't wait to see how far he goes.
