Marvellous Manners dog training will be starting a new block of puppy classes in September.

We’ll be teaching you the basics of being a great dog owner. Give you ways to bond with your dog and train them at the same time. A good relationship is the key to having a well behaved dog who wants to please you.

We also run group classes for the next level puppy training as well as one to one training.

We will be working through the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme awards.

New Puppy Classes starting this month, get in touch for further details.
We work towards the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme- Puppy Foundation Assessment.
We'll cover essential socialisation, lots of hints and tips on raising your puppy, basic commands such as Sit, Down and Stand, Puppy Recall, responsiveness to name, Lead Walking, Food Manners, Preventing Resource Guarding and some Tricks and Games to improve your bond.

Merry Christmas to you and your lovely dogs from Marvellous Manners!
Keep your dogs safe this Christmas, beware of raisins, chocolate, batteries.
Dogs can find Christmas time very stressful so be prepared by freezing a Kong toy or lick mat filled with some of their food, plus some added treats such as peanut butter (make sure it doesn’t contain Xylitol), sausages, pieces of Turkey. You could even stick a pizzle stick, bone or deer antler in the top of the Kong. Give them this to enjoy whilst guests are arriving, you are opening presents or sitting down to your Christmas dinner.
Make time to take your dog out for a walk.
Ensure your dog has a safe quiet place they can escape to if they need to. 🐾

Well deserved Puppy Foundation Kennel Club Good Citizens! As well as learning behaviours such as Sit, Down and Stand, these guys worked really hard to perfect the most amazing loose lead walking along with perfect eye contact, even with the distraction of other dogs nearby.
