Timmy's bio is now LIVE on our website.

He has been through an awful lot in his young life, having been passed from pillar to post and having had negative experiences with resident children. He is clearly a loving boy, but very anxious and worried, so we are seeking a calm, quiet, adult-only home (or one with older teenagers who are gentle and won't crowd him).

All cats in England must be microchipped and registered on a database from tomorrow (Monday, June 10) under new laws.

The new legislation applies to all cats aged 20 weeks and older, including indoor cats.

Please note, we will be unable to board your cat if it is not microchipped.

Hi Everyone, my name is Smokey and I am 20 months old. I am now ready to find my furever home 🥰

I have recently had a litter of 5 kittens who everyone said I looked after very well! Although they were very tiring so I now need to find a new home where I can be the one that gets looked after hehe ❤️

As well as raising kittens I have also been busy purrrfecting my side profile pose 👌

I am very friendly, I love to be fussed and I am looking for a new best friend that I can chat too ☺️

Roy was a very reluctant model today - he wasn't terribly impressed with having the camera pointed at him, but behind that grumpy face lies the heart of a big softy! 🤍

So many of you have taken Roy to your hearts after seeing his appeal (and donating a huge amount toward his treatment and ongoing care, for which we are extremely grateful). We are delighted to say that his wound has healed nicely and, pending a further check-up by our vets next week, he is now ready for rehoming.

Roy received a number of enquiries when he first arrived, but now we have had chance to properly assess him, we are inviting formal applications.

Potential adopters must be aware that Roy has been diagnosed with a heart condition, and will need to be on medication for life. It is possible that we can cover the cost of this, so long as treatment is continued with our vets. This can be discussed further with our team should you be invited in to meet him.

Roy is thought to be 5-10 years old, and due to his past as a known stray over a long period, we will be looking to home him to a completely new area. He has proven his escape-artist abilities, so an area that's not too busy would be best, and adopters would need to be super-vigilant when it comes to keeping him indoors until he is fully settled in.

We think an adult-only home, or one with calm, sensible older children will be best for him, and we think he could potentially live with another cat or two.

Roy does sometimes hiss when he is unsure about something, but he is soon purring when he receives head rubs, and he loves his food and treats.

When he was very poorly, and had to have his abscess drained, Roy handled it like a boss, being so compliant with the vet in spite of the pain he must have been in.
