Took Linda & Shona up Malvern today for somewhere different to ride, also to start getting Linda out and about more, we had a fabulous time. Slight issues coming home, when Shona decided she wanted to stay on the Malvern Hills and not get on the trailer … an hour later of serious discussions.. she happily got on. I love ponies 🤣🤦🏻♀️
New course Sunday!
Arena hire £20 an hour allowing up to two horses, any extra is £5.
Double trouble twins, Owen and Linda up the gallops!
For a laugh 😂!! My baby Linda having a bit of a “desensitising” day, as she’s becoming a bit of a teenager to handle - clearly pushing boundaries… as they do! We had a walk, trot, canter over the tarp and then decided it was okay just to wear it instead… and that it was more than okay to wear it all the way back to the yard and set everyone off because - Why the hell has the little devil pony turned green?!!!!!
Meephill’s first foal. Poppy being an excellent mother, we are all so excited!
Quinn “Kwong”!
I’m so over the moon to hear and have this video sent to me yesterday, that Quinn is back to himself - A little video of him out hacking for the first time after his recent upset, which had us all very worried at Meephill.
A lovely message from his owners too…
“I really do know how lucky we are that he’s still with us. You and your “team” were an integral part of getting him through it. Can’t thank everyone enough for what they did 😍”
Quinn is such a lovely, big … and friendly giant, although holiday livery plans didn’t go as wanted - he was the perfect gentleman and we loved having him here - I’m so happy he’s on the road to recovery! X
Gemma’s very sleepy Moo the other day, despite the fact turn out is difficult for us at the moment … non of them seem to care and are very happy being in!
A very KEEN Linda with Abi South equestrian services - little Madam who always thinks she knows best but a brilliant schooling/ jumping session with her this afternoon ( thank you Becky Stroud )
Little Harry having a jump with Abi South equestrian services this afternoon, he’s not seen many fillers but seems to absolutely love his jumping 😍 Really cool little pony that’s here with us on schooling livery
When will it ever dry up!!! Beau and Poppy out in the field shelters, trying our best to keep them happy, but it’s just so wet. I have an actual river flowing through their bottom field at the moment. Ignore my Beau’s grumpy faces😂 That’s just always been her around food.
Rain rain go away!!!
Never have I seen our pond flood before, unfortunately into the girls fields! Although thankfully they have just been hiding in their field shelters.
To bring in the New Year! Our Echo always on fire 🔥 Going clear and loving her job with Abi South equestrian services, again another horse I would have never imagined to be where she is now, everyone around me at the time told me I should have given up on her years ago, I was told I should have never have bought her, I was told she was dangerous and needing an early horsey heaven - I stuck to my guns, fully knowing she has talent, just with the right rider with patience and time. It’s been a long coming up 8 years 🙈 with madam Echo, I could write a book about her and what she’s put me through - more importantly, we wouldn’t be here today without Abi South.
Meanwhile our Simon has been loving life with his new found love for jumping, with enthusiastic “happy dances in between” 🙈 I honestly couldn’t tell you how far this little man has come over the past year, he hasn’t been the easiest AT ALL, but we are getting there and I’m over the moon with his progess Abi South equestrian services
And here we have another helpful “stable hand” that is Simon 😂🤦🏻♀️ Caught in the act by one of my lovely liveries Kate. Becky our plan failed to keep the corner dry from playing with the water drinker - he’s now just playing with the tub 😂
I seem to have a yard full of really helpful horses at the moment 😂
Also giving my little baby Linda an extra boost of confidence when it comes to puddles and mini lakes in the field 😂🥰 Big thank you to Simon and Abi South equestrian services
My fields might be flooded - like the majority of us all! However it didn’t stop Simon loving his “puddles” and “water treadmill!”
Simon for some reason is a complete water baby and just loves to play in it! Abi South equestrian services
Holiday liveries Jack & Stan having a nice stroll today! 🥰
