📣 PLAY DATE REQUEST FROM A CUSTOMER….📣

We would be interested to hear from anyone who might like to meet up for a doggy play date with our young lad Rodney.
Rodney is a two-year-old lurcher, who is full of beans, very boisterous and desperate for some doggy company. He is a lovely, friendly lad but can be a bit full on to start with. He could best be described as a “hyper-social greeter” and when on a leash, this means he will bark and bounce around a lot. It can look intimidating, but he just desperately wants to interact with other dogs and this displays as frustration.
He has not had much chance to mix he gets excited initially but quickly calms down settling into normal play behaviour after a while.
His ideal playmate would be a similarly sized dog who would not be intimidated by or overreact to his high spirits.
We have been mixing him with other dogs at the Dogs Trust with their help and guidance; This has all gone very well and their assessment of him, is just that he needs more time with other dogs and to learn some doggy manners.
A trainer there has also offered to supervise the initial meet with a new playmate.

Hi everyone,
Thought I’d say hello! I’m home and recovery has begun! Taking things very slowly and catching up on lots of sleep. Eira thinks I’m being highly anti-social and is desperate to have lap cuddles, so needs a lot of supervision from Greg! But we’re managing gentle hellos.
Greg & my parents are being superstars maintaining the field. Great weather for field fun and seeing sunshine definitely helps the healing process ☺️🐾
