A bit about me....Hi I'm Emma, I am a dog owner, I have a Cockapoo, Jasper, who is 7. I'm happy to tailor each walk to your dogs needs and I aim to provide a 1-to-1 service for your fur baby but more than happy to walk 2 dogs from the same household. I've been around dogs and cats most of my life. My parents always had dogs when I was growing up, sometimes 3 at a time! They're definitely part of t

he family and they brought us such joy over the years, so I know as a dog owner, how important it is to ensure your dogs wellbeing and happiness is maintained.

Antifreeze is highly toxic.
💡 Be careful not to spill any when topping up your car (or mop it up thoroughly)
💡 Don’t let your dog drink from puddles
💡 Some councils mix antifreeze in with the gritting salt – wash your dogs paws thoroughly after a winter walk.

My helper stepped in during a lunchtime walk last week as he had a spare lunch break, I was very poorly mid week and had to cancel some walks but he saved the day at the end of the week! What a trooper! He’s not always available but this time he was. Fully insured on my books too! 😍🦮🐾

I’m slowly on the mend so hopefully that continues xx

When considering walking your dog in cold weather, there’s a pretty simple rule to live by – if it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for your dog.

But like humans, every dog is different. Where some dogs seem to be made for snow and wet weather, others can struggle in even the slightest of chills. The vet experts at Joii have given some guidelines to help you decide if you should brave the elements or stay in the warmth.

Just looking at the temperature on the thermometer (or if you’re like us, on your phone’s weather app) isn’t enough, you also need to take into account wind chill, wet conditions (rain or damp ground) and how sunny the day is. If in doubt, keep your walk short or skip it all together if your dog can toilet in the garden instead.
