What an icy start to the new year! Don't forget to thoroughly wipe down your pups paws after a walk, to remove any grit or salt they may have picked up. This can not only cause irritation and small cuts to the pads, but can be potentially toxic if ingested by licking.

Are you snow- ready? ⛄⛄⛄

Top tip: ❄️❄️ Leg snowballs ❄️❄️

Those of you with fluffy pooches know what a nightmare these clumps of snow can be to remove after a walk or playtime in the snow.

If not removed quickly and thoroughly they turn to lumps of ice, then freezing water on your dogs legs, which is not nice for them at all.

All you need is your trusty slicker brush, to gently break up and brush out the snowballs. It only takes a couple of minutes and you'll find the fur dries quickly afterwards.
