Hello! How is 2024 so far? Back to ‘normal’?. What is ‘normal’? What one word comes to mind? Is it Peace? Calm? Happiness? We really hope it is but if it isn’t, can we help you find these things? We’ve received some fantastic feedback from our sessions. Get in touch and let us and our four hoofed friends help you

Windy and rainy again today. 7.30am and just finished mucking out. Had to go around the track and make sure all the electric fence posts were secure so the horses rushed over, in a torrent of flying hoofs, mud and water, so excited to get the chance of maybe an inch of grass! Got back to the barn and there’s Coco, all alone, munching happily on a haynet. First reaction, have to admit was, I felt a bit sorry for him. I thought because he’s only got one eye he’d not got the memo and was being left out. But then, watching him, it dawned on me that actually, 1. he’s under cover, on a bed of lovely, clean straw and 2. he has the pick of five, yes FIVE! haynets. So, sorry quickly changed to admiration, that Lil’ Coco, even with his “disability”, still has the strength of character to not just follow the crowd. It’s not the first time either, he sometimes doesn’t come in from the track with the others if he’s happy where he is. When the others charge in, like needy children, Coco is happy in himself and saunters in when he’s ready. The confidence of someone who’s at peace with himself and one of the things I love about him most. I think I’m going to try try to be just a little bit more like Coco ❤️

Well. It’s raining again. It’s 6.30am and it’s perfect. Coco is muddy, perfect. Chase is muddy and covered in hay from sharing a haynet with Chief, perfect. Chief is not too muddy but he’s wet, perfect. Dylan is very muddy, not too wet, perfect. George, well George is wet and muddy and wet again, perfect!!! The rain is pounding on the roof, the yard has a delightful stream running through and the track is probably waiting to remove any unsuspecting wellie from anyone who dares to try to walk along it, perfect. So it’s all PERFECT but how can that be? Well it’s how you choose to look at things. Firstly, the horses are all well, perfect. They’re all eating, they’re warm and they’re safe, perfect. They have choice, they can stay under the shelter or they can go out on the track and they will go out, believe me, perfect. They churn it up with their big feet and they sound like a herd of hippos haha! but that’s perfect because they are happy and they have choice, perfect. So whilst we’ve loved looking at beautiful pictures and videos of gorgeous Christmas scenes with snow and ponies and Christmas costumes and ponies and fluffy, clean ponies and ponies……. We’ve loved it!! PERFECT. But it’s not us. Not today. This is us today and it’s PERFECT. So have a perfect day everyone whatever your day reveals itself to be. With love and muddy hoof prints from us to you ❤️

Anyone need a stocking filler for Christmas? May be good idea 🙏🎄

Letting the storm blow all around us and just chilling. With my bestie, Chase ❤️

Somebody (Chase) was a brave boy and had a little clip today!! On my own, not enough light, my knees protesting loudly! No straight lines, tram lines galore and a huge tufty bit left, but it’s a start 🤠

Morning cuddles for Jenny from Coco 😍

A little update on how Chase is doing getting used to the big noisy clippers. This is the first time I’ve actually put the clippers on him, instead of using my phone. We’re in a stable and the door is shut but I know he’s comfortable with that, however, he’s not tied because I want him to have a choice. He can move away if he needs to. Luckily I managed to see he was licking and chewing so I stopped and as you can see he followed me and breathed out when I moved away. He’s a brave little man 🤠
04/10/2023
I guess only Chase and Dylan know why……..🤣
22/09/2023
CLIPPERS Chase wasn’t comfortable when we got the clippers out so we abandoned any thoughts of clipping him until he feels relaxed and accepting of them. Meanwhile we’re getting him confident by using a You Tube video on my phone!! It’s working a treat so hopefully he’ll soon have a nice snazzy haircut 🤠

Coco and Chase going out on to the main track with Chief, Dylan and George, for the first time (on purpose, Isabella Coates 😉😉)

Just felt the need to repost this picture of me, Wills (foreground) and my sister (Jenny) and Sullivan from our younger days. Don’t know why but just made me chuckle 😉 Obviously it’s Thelwell but just saying 🤣

My turn to drag the old lady around today, says Chase. She said her legs were like jelly. I’ve never tried jelly but I have nibbled the old lady human’s legs and they’re not tasty at all! Have a good weekend everyone 🤠

Big day today says Coco! I went for my first, what my human likes to call, “ground drive” through the fields and tracks. Well, I must say, I did enjoy it tremendously. It was a great opportunity to fill my tum with juicy Dr. Green, which I’m normally not allowed anywhere near. An hour and a half of my new favourite game of four steps, head down, grab a mouthful. Hee hee!. My human tried her best to outwit me but I’d say it was a 50/50 result. YUM YUM!!

Chase trit trottin around the lanes today (aka towing an old lady up and down some hills 🤠). One day, some day (fingers crossed soon) the Lil’uns will be ready for a saddle chariot and so no one will need to listen to said old lady huffin and puffin 👍 🤩
26/08/2023
Coco out trot-trottin, around the lanes, with Lucky George and Dylan the Brave. This circuit is 3.5 miles and usually takes us about an hour and a quarter. Would possibly take less time if I was any good at running. He was game today, though, and very graciously agreed to tow me up the last big hill on the way home 🤠

Teatime fun with two Minis, a Standardbred and some bovine friends 🤩 Coco and Chase play with the cows every day and it’s hard to tell who enjoys it more. Today Chief decided to get involved too 🤠

Coco and Chase are getting the hang of what’s called “draw” in the liberty world. They really are the bees knees 🤩
03/08/2023
What a difference a day makes!!! Beautiful morning for p**p collecting 🤣 Coco and some of his friends drying out after yesterday’s deluge 🤩
02/08/2023
We are wettie, wettie, wet, wet……but we’re still outside even though you put one of our nets inside 🤩 Little tuffies 😍
01/08/2023
Chase out for a walk with his big buddy George 😍 (this could save my legs a lot of work 🤣)
24/06/2023
This is a really interesting photograph to me. Yesterday (FINALLY!!!), after 6 months, we felt it was safe enough to put Chief out with new boy Lucky George (all went well). To minimise any possible problems we decided to put Dylan the Brave in with Coco and Chase for a few days. This morning this happened!! Cute photo eh?? BUT! I suddenly realised it is very rare to see Coco lay down. Chief has a bit of a fixation with him and now I’m thinking this has meant that Coco has potentially been unable to be comfortable enough to sleep properly in Chief’s presence. Cue feelings of immense guilt 🥴 Have a good rest Coco ❤️❤️

Chase getting some snooze time in before it gets really warm today. Doesn’t look comfortable to me but what do I know? 🤩
