The OFFICIAL opening of Nature Emporium is this Saturday!!

🎉✨️🎊 Billy, from Emmerdale, will be swinging by around 12 noon to officially open the shop. 🥳🎉✨️
If you're an Emmerdale fan, make sure to call into Morley Market to meet Jay & have a look around the market & our new shop.

A pet shop with a twist. Not only can you buy goodies for your pets & wildlife, but you can also treat yourself too! 👍🎁

bakehouse & Crafters Cottage have joined forces to bring you NATURE EMPORIUM.

A one stop shop for pet, nature & animal loving people.

Not only will the shop be selling a wide variety of pet & wildlife food, including Bamboo's Bakehouse home baked & natural dog treats 🐾, but also locally handmade accessories, gifts, treats, trinkets, bird feeders, bug houses & so much more. All animal, pet & nature themed.

If there's anything you'd like us to stock, please let us know, we're open to suggestions.

Pop ups 28th Sept, 3rd & 4th Oct, official opening Sat 5th October.
Morley Market, top of the steps, opposite the v**e shop.

They're in the little unit next to the side entrance off Home Bargains car park.
There some beautiful homemade gifts there, pop in & check it out.

I am saddened to let you all know that Crafters Cottage will be closing it's doors on Saturday 5th August.

Unfortunately the footfall isn't enough to keep the shop financially viable.

Please continue to support the amazing local talent that have been selling their stunning crafts & artwork in the Cottage, by joining Crafter's Cottage Extra where they will continue to showcase their beautiful creations. You'll be able to order directly with the maker & arrange collection via them. I know they're already working on some Christmas stock! 🎄

Bamboo's Bakehouse is going on the road & online.
IT'S NOT CLOSING, IT JUST WON'T BE IN THE SHOP!
I'm looking for local small independent shops, bars, delis, cafes etc to stock these very popular dog bakes.
The more independent businesses network & support each other, the more the town will build back up. 🤞
I'm also on the look out for somewhere in Morley to do a pup-up maybe once a fortnight for a couple of hours, where regular Bamboo Buddies can come & stock up.

It's a beautiful grade 2 listed cottage. The oldest shop in Morley based on searches made by the Morley archives. One of Morley's true herritage shops, but sadly as the town develops, the economy gets worse & large discount shops & supermarkets make peoples lives easier, the high street just isn't what it was.
Sadly, it's just the wrong place & time for this little gem of a shop to flourish & unfortunately I don't have the funds to wait until it is the right place or the right time.

Please please do support your independent businesses where ever you can. Shopping local doesn't mean the local homebargains. These small businesses are struggling, even if they don't openly broadcast that they are.
As the old saying goes use it or lose it.

Thank you to everybody who has supported this business, either by making a purchase or by spreading the word. Sharing posts & telling your friends all helps massively. Thank you 😘

The name N Appleyard is Nathaniel Appleyard, it is thought that the lady in the photo is his daughter, Irene, known as Reanie ( not sure of the spelling ). I have a photo of Nathaniel known as Nat, hanging up in the shop, kindly given to me by the lovely late Raymond Cowling
