🎅🎄HERE COMES SANTA PAWS, HERE COMES SANTA PAWS, RIGHT DOWN SANTA PAWS LANE! 🎄🎅

As per Pooches Unleashed tradition, because the dogs have been soooo good this year, we took a detour on our way home from the dog walks to a very special Santa’s Grotto to see the big man in red himself.

The dogs were all told how good they’ve been this year and they got their present/treat orders in ready for the elves to get to work on before we close for Christmas - tight deadline elves, get to work please!

Our Pooches Unleashed dogs were SO enthusiastic about how much they love their walks, that Santa decided to come and join us out on walks this week to see the magic happen. Watch this space...

Spooky going-ons on the second walk today too... as you can see the dogs thought it was great having a ghost join our walk 😂.

Well done to Charlotte, my 14 year old niece who was willing to spend a day dressed in a sheet, playing with the pooches and I would say desensitising them for tonight, however not a single one was bothered. Funnily enough she didn’t want to wear her fab costume to her friend’s Halloween party tonight...

The cooling mats also work wonders for babies 😂 we had a spare little one and it’s been a lifesaver this week. What I use for your babies, I also use on my own 😂

I’d highly recommend the cooling bandanas from B&M, these combined with the cooling towels and mats have kept our dogs nice and cool on our shaded walks along the water. Both walks were run simultaneously this morning so all dogs were out before the heat increased. A couple of the pooches are also wearing cooling vests which also work fantastically.

Here are some of our gorgeous pooches modelling their bandanas! All dogs have one to help them keep cool as they enjoy sniffs and paddling!

Keeping cool is the order of the week! All walks have been brought forward slightly and we’re sticking to cool, shaded woods with access to water to play in. There’s a much slower pace to the walks and dogs are managing great, it’s so much cooler here under the trees. Super glad we have a car rather than a van as the air con covers the entire vehicle rather than just the front seats as in vans, so the pooches are keeping cool in their crates - we also have water to drink and cool towels/mats available but so far they’ve been happy with just a drink and a quick cool towel as they’ve kept cool in the water.
