We are looking for a foster/forever home for Katie, a standard schnauzer who has very sadly come to us due to her owner’s terminal illness.

Katie is six years old and she came over to an emergency foster home this weekend. Katie is still understandably a little unsettled, which isn’t helped by nightly fireworks, so we want to get her into a foster with a view to adopt home very quickly if we can.

We are ideally looking for a dog-free, child-free home in line with her previous home, though her owner says she has been fine with visiting children and dogs on her walks.

Katie has been with her previous family since she was a puppy.

Katie is vaccinated, spayed and vet checked so could go a little further afield for the perfect home.

Update:

Thank you all again for being so patient and understanding regards my recovery from a badly sprained ankle.

I’ve have been out and about this last week but only small group walks and no heavy lead walks.

I’m not 💯 but we are getting there slowly

This week will be quiet due to half term giving me extra time to get better.

Nov and Dec ( dates not decided yet ) is MOT time for the vans so limited service on 2 days in Nov/ Dec while this happens.

I’ve to take a family member to hospital at the beginning of Dec for an operation so I may be limited again but will know more later.

I’ve not taken any pictures or videos this last week due to concentrating on walking but intend to do more this week. Paul has so will post his soon.

A massive thank you to Diane Schofield for last weekend and holding the fort while paul and I celebrated our weddings anniversary in Salford. it was a hobbling time but we enjoyed it all thanks to her and her amazing friendship.

Last but not least thank you to my amazing husband and Betty for stepping up and helping me get better ❤️‍🩹

Introducing New Pup on the Block it’s Piper

This young lady had a couple of test walks with us this week but today she was flying solo.

She got stuck in straight away and has made lots of new friends already

She a regular from now on.

Update

Thank you all so much for being absolutely brilliant in understanding our situation this week.

I’m hobbling about , doing exercises and trying to rest my foot as much as possible.

We are still going away this weekend I’ve invested in a surgical boot which looks very stylish but gives me that extra protection to aid my recovery

Paul is doing an amazing job seeing to the essential walks and when we celebrate on Saturday our 22 years married this week is a reminder of why I married him , he’s such a wonderful man who completely selfless in everything he does and non of this is possible without him❤️

We have cancelled our trip in November as we’ve lost bookings this week so once I’m up and ready it’s non stop till Dec 28th.

I’ve returned from the injury unit I’ve a badly sprained ankle so need to rest it for at least 2-3 weeks

So limited service with paul I’m afraid

Will be intouch with everyone booked in

If you can find alternative please do we need to concentrate on those out of the house all day.

Hi all

I fell over and hurt my ankle about an hour ago and I’m at home and paul is having to finish off my dogs and his

We are going to try to get to A n E or Paul drops me there

So tomorrow is uncertain I’m afraid

If you can make alternative arrangements for now just incase , it’s very swollen and painful right now

Will update everyone asap

FYI

We won’t be posting any reels this weekend as we are having the weekend off and going away for 1 night to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary.

Early finish on Saturday , Sunday off back to normal Monday 21st Oct.

We will send individual personal pictures instead through the week.

Also reminder we are away Sunday 17th November am Monday 18th back to work Tuesday 19th November

Then that’s it till Dec 28th till Jan 2nd

Will keep reminding throughout

An amazing place to stay , so many walks nearby , 15 mins walk to The Ship Inn right by the sea front great food and beer , lots of dog friendly places

We are going again for new year our 3rd year running 5th visit

Highly highly recommend 🐶
