It is with great sadness that I need to let you know that the beautiful Archie crossed the rainbow bridge last week.

He was one of my originals and retired from walking last year and was so missed by his friends. Everyone asked how he was doing and the dogs loved it when he joined us on the odd walk.

He was always one of my ‘every’ dogs. He walked with everyone, went everywhere, even to the garage and bank when needed and loved the attention he got. He was such a gentle giant, stubborn at times and was never a fan of the rain. In the early days if it started to rain he’d just walk off and take us back to the van 😆

Love to his mum and I’m sure Sacha will be waiting for you for a game of chase. Love you big lad 💙

Car parking charges at local parks 🚗

From 10 February, car parking charges will be introduced at Roundhay Park (including Mansion Lane), Temple Newsam Estate, Golden Acre Park, Leeds Urban Bike Park and Otley Chevin Forest Park.

Your contributions will help fund site improvements and maintenance.

Car parking fees will be as follows:

· £1 for up to 2 hours
· £2.50 for up to 4 hours
· £4 for up to 12 hours
· £10 for a month (across all parks sites)
· £80 for a year (across all parks sites)
