I've currently got a Black Friday sale on for leather gifts on my website. I haven't done one before and thought I'd give it a go this year.

It's running from yesterday (Sunday 10th November until Sunday 17th November) this is purely for me to be able to make and post the items in time before the mad Christmas rush starts 😀. It's just me at RSO Leather and everything is handmade to order so some items can take a while to complete.

Has anyone done a Black Friday sale before? Are they really worth it? How much do drop the prices?

How the RSO Leather journey began 😊

After 15 years of working as an office administrator, I took the plunge and began my leatherwork journey by taking a couple of basic leatherwork courses and found my future.
In early 2019 after 4 years of attending the Saddlery Training Centre in Salisbury I gained my Level 3 City and Guilds certificate in Bridle and Saddle making to become a Society of Master Saddlers (SMS) qualified saddler, along with the SMS Saddle Flocking and Flocking Adjustment certification. From there, RSO Leather began 😊👍.

All my products are completely handmade using traditional tools and hand stitching methods here at my workshop in North Yorkshire.
And last but not least in May 2024, I qualified as a Society of Master Saddlers Bridle Fitter 🥳🥳🥳🎉🎉🍾🍾🍾

A bridle fit assessment doesn't mean you have to spend £££££'s on a new made-to-measure or bought bridle, I can often make small changes to your existing bridle or offer advice on alternatives to improve the comfort of your horse.
