Dog Days

Dog Days Hi I’m Roz and have been running Dog Days since April 2004. I’m committed to making sure my own pets get the best care and attention I can give them.

Having always loved animals and enjoyed outdoor pursuits (my last job was a delivery postie in Meanwood Park!) I decided that being a dog walker was a great way to combine the two. I’ve previously owned cats, rabbits and guinea pigs but currently share my home with Fresca, an Italian Maremma Sheepdog. Fresca comes on most of the dog walks I do and she has gained many friends and admirers along the

way! At Dog Days I offer all my customers the same care and commitment, along with a friendly, personal service at competitive rates. I do not sub-contract work to anyone else and can supply references from many happy customers.

The little charmer spotted a couple having a picnic in Golden Acre. And as she sniffed around for crumbs, they lifted their legs so she could hoover underneath them. 😄

We've said goodbye to Potter, Bruce and Skye.
Farewell to Moses as he travels south and also to Pippi, though she's not so far away.
As situations change further, we'll take it a step at a time.

A sad goodbye to Skye who was just short of 14.
I first covered for her regular dog walker, Anne, around 10 years ago and then we shared her walks. I've since walked Skye's 'relatives' Piffi and Smithy on occasions, too.
She was a little trooper - a typical working Cocker - speedy and determined, with paws that could tackle any terrain.
Frail in her later years but her eyes still lit up at the sight of a ball.
So long, sweet girl and my thoughts are with all of your family. ❤

Getting down to Howard's level. Never had my face so close to the pavement. Not while sober, anyway 😉
