What a wet day! Luckily the doggos weren’t bothered and we were warm inside! Tagging the lovely local businesses that bring their dogs to me as we are surrounded by such greatness! Not forgetting who supplied me with this brilliant fabric for my bandannas! Love it!

It’s hot hot this week for the pooches! Luckily it’s nice and cool in my studio and we are having a good old trim of the long hairs! If your dog is feeling hot, try and get them to lie on a cold wet towel, just underneath them not on top. Also a good brush through their hair will loosen the coat and allow any breeze through to the skin. X

Good advice from local vets today x

With temperatures rising we are seeing an increase in heat stroke emergencies. It is important that we as pet owners can recognise the signs of heat stroke as if left untreated it can be fatal.

Heatstroke is of particular concern in flat faced breeds (brachycephalic). Please be mindful of taking these pets out in the hot weather.

We recommend that all routine appointments, such as vaccines cancelled. If you would like to cancel your appointment please contact the practice on 01274065222.

Please keep your pet indoors and cool!

What a week of brilliant dogs! Paddy the gigantic puppy came for his big boy groom, Max came for a good trim as he feels the heat, little lady Martha had a good midway wash and tidy, Maisy had her teeth cleaned Duggie and Ivy look very similar and both love a salmon treat and big Ted introduced me to his new human, congratulations Ted and family!
