Get Kells down Oldfield Lane 🙏🙏

When Gary Kelly left his home town in Drogheda in Ireland,and his then schoolboy club Home Farm located near the airport on the northside of Dublin in the Summer of 1990, for ,little did he know,or Uniteds fanbase back then realise ,of the huge impact he would have and still has to this day 35 years later, on so many people.
Kells was a great servant to Leeds and his country the Republic of Ireland,around 1994/95 season there wasn't a better fullback in the Premier League, but its as a man that Gary stands out,footballers are accused of living in their own world,distant from reality and the fans who adore them.
That was never a case with Kells,he has always been a fan first and a player afterwards,he gets what being a supporter is all about.
Just 2 examples of many of the type of man Gary Kelly is,when he 1st came to an Irish supporters function in the Banqueting Suite at Elland Road,still a teenager,he brought with him 2 shirts, Leeds and Republic of Ireland shirts,and presented the supporters club with both,went around to every table to meet those fans present that night.And stayed until the very end.
The 2nd instant relates to a fan who was having a tough time,and we all experience those times.
Gary found out,messaged him to check out he was fine,offered any help he could give,and continued to message him on a daily basis,until that fan started to feel better.
Gary Kelly is a one off,and he does most of his good deeds without wanting any publicity for it.
