Animal ArkAid are a Leeds based charity, led by a team of committed volunteers, whose sole aim is to raise funds to share amongst local animal charities. They organise events throughout the year to realise this goal and depend entirely on the support of individuals who share their concern for the care and welfare of all creatures great and small. Currently at Swinnow Community Centre CIC offering £10 microchipping. Here until 7pm. This is, undoubtedly, the last opportunity before the compulsory microchipping legislation come into play at midnight. No appointment necessary. Don't miss out.
We only use Peddymark Microchips and register them on the Petlog database. Please let every cat owner on your friends list know so that no-one misses out.

All cats must be kept in an appropriate pet carrier and will remain the responsibility of their custodian. We do hold public liability insurance, but cannot accept responsibility for escapees.

Please send us a message if you want to arrange to have your pet microchipped.

Cats in England must be implanted with a microchip before they reach the age of 20 weeks, and their contact details must be stored and kept up to date in a DEFRA-compliant database like ours.

Cats must be microchipped by 10 June 2024, and if found un-microchipped, the cat's keeper will have 21 days to have one implanted, or they could face a fine of up to £500.
