What to do on our farm :
Bottle feed the lambs and Calves as set times in the small animal barn area (April til September )
Feeding is normally around 11 & 3 starting with the lambs, with a single lamb feed at 1pm. Check our daily what's on or speak to a member of staff. Come & hand feed the Cows, Sheep, Donkeys,

Llamas, Goats & Ponies
Scratch the Alpaca's, see the Emus and their new chicks. Check out the cheeky meerkats as well as the Small animal barn where you can pet and groom some of the Bunnies and Guinea Pigs. See the ducks waddling around, check out the chickens, turkey and cockerel. Enjoy both our outdoor play areas, the Beach area with sand pits & swings, or the Farmyard fit area with monkey bars, climbing frames and climbing course. Hospitality
Sit back and relax outside the snack baa\\* on the picnic tables or check out our fantastic classic lunch menu in the Farmyard cafe. or bring your own lunch and grab a picnic table outside in our designated spaces. (*peak times only)

PLEASE NOTE: The farm is open until 5pm, so you can stay as long as you like.

We are open today and this weekend from 10am until 5pm if you are looking for something to do with the your pre schoolers .. or just nip in for a coffee and cake in the cafe 🍰☕️

Preparations have begun for our pumpkin festival as we start in the wilds woods and create the walk to meet Jules our friendly Swithens Farm witch.

We are now on the run towards harvest and lots of changes on the farm with the animal paddock and bringing in the harvest.

We look forward to welcoming you this September as we open from 10am til 5pm Thursday through to Sunday.

We are back to our Thursday to Sunday opening.

We are in term time so we are running our school trips during the week )and farming). Open Thursday to Sunday for you all to enjoy the farm.
Calf feeding is on at 11.30am & 3.30pm with all the paddocks and sheds open for feeding as normal.

The play areas all remain open.
The Play-barn is included on Thursday and Friday with your ticket price (limited to 30 users per session).

The cafe is open from 10am until 5pm.

Due to the high winds this morning, we have taken the decision to delay the opening of the petting farm until 11am. The cafe will be open from 10am and the first lamb feeding will be at 11.30am. We apologise for any inconvenience but the safety of our visitors, staff and animals is very important. Anyone with online bookings can use their ticket at any time today or we can reschedule for you.

Lamb feeding & calf feeding are a must, these are included in your ticket price over in the small animal barn area.
Feeding is 11am, 1pm and 3pm for the lambs & 11.30am and 3.30pm for the calves.

We have plenty of different farm animals to feed in the paddock area (carrots are £1 a tub for feeding), then relax in the beach area or play on the adventure play ground.

Our cafe is open for lunch or coffee and cake, or bring your own lunch and use open of our benches in the picnic areas.

Welcome to Swithens Farm!

We are an independent family run business and our farm has been in our family for over 60 years. Opening our doors to the public we wanted to share with you our love for our animals, produce, and give our knowledgeable insight, all whilst promoting the family atmosphere that the farming environment offers… making it the prime location for families to enjoy their day out.

Here you can meet our more than just our farm yard animals, we have many friends such as Meerkats, Emus, Donkeys and more! The rare opportunity to get up close and personal is waiting for you here at our farm, an experience that is not so easy to find anymore. From lamb feeding to tractor rides – it’s here! We try our very best to offer educational value to your visit, in which we have many School Trips visit to learn about the farm life and the animals, especially how the food they eat ends up on their plates.
