Our Molli loves every single dog that comes through Mrs B’s doors and because of that love, she has saved all the longest nails that we’ve ever clipped here at Mrs B’s and made it into some beautiful art work! 🐶

A gorgeous groom done in our grooming academy by the lovely Grace! ✨

Grace has completed her first week here at Mrs B’s and she’s absolutely smashing it!

She’s picked up grooming instantly and she has now groomed over 10 dogs! 🫢

We feel she can only go up from here! We’re really excited to see what Grace does in grooming! Exciting times 😬🐶✨

We have a lovely model in today, Dotty who is being very patient and sweet throughout the groom! 🥰

As you can see, they are taking it slow and working together under the guidance of Molli to begin to learn how to become the best dog groomer they can possibly be! ✨

Our dog grooming courses are very practical, where you will get stuck in straight away in your training as we believe it is the best way to learn this profession effectively and efficiently! 🐾

🎓 Congratulations to our amazing student Abby ✨

She has completed her iPet Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management 🐶

This is the 30 day course where we aim to take you from a complete beginner to a competent and confident dog groomer by the end of the course! 💃

You will generally groom 2 different dog breeds a day with varying coats.
This is to ensure that you have a wide range of knowledge on most dog coats, so you feel confident and are able to groom the highest possible standard! ✂️

You learn Canine Emergency First Aid ⛑️ which is a great thing to learn on the course, but also an added bonus if you have your own pooch at home! 🙌

Abby has been an absolute superstar throughout the whole course, getting stuck into everything and taking it all in her stride! ✨

She has picked it up really well and has become a fabulous groomer! She is already an asset to the dog grooming industry! 🐾

📣 We now have weekend availability for Academy Dog Grooms! 🥳

Is your dog a superstar and do you want a January bargain?!?!

Well if so we now have weekend availability for training academy grooms! 🐶

These grooms are the same as regular grooms, they just take a little longer but they are cheaper! ✨

The reason it takes longer is that it is a training groom so there can be a lot of stopping and starting so the student training can learn effectively!
Don’t worry your pooch will be given lots of breaks, cuddles and treats (if they’re allowed treats!)

The groom will be under the watchful eye of Lottie who has over 15 years experience in grooming! 🐾

It is more of a relaxed groom as it is just your dog, the student and Lottie so it can be good for dogs that prefer the peace and quiet and a chilled pace! ✨

These grooms have the same appointment times as the weekday ones which is either:

- 9am
- 1pm

🦷 Teefy Thursdays 🦷

Here we have another regular visitor at our canine dentists! Here you can see how much plaque we can get off in one session!

By coming in regularly we are able to easily remove plaque off of this pooches teeth and keep them clean and healthy! ✨

Maintaining your dogs dental hygiene is really important as it ensures that your dogs mouth is healthy and can help to avoid expensive vet bills, where sometimes they have to loose some their teeth.

It is a very easy process and doesn’t take that long to carry it out, making it ideal if your dog isn’t a fan of going to the groomers! 🐶

Please be aware that we may not be able to get all of the plaque off your dog’s teeth in the first visit, as it depends on the severity and how much the dog allows!

📣 WEEKEND AVAILBILITY UPDATE:

Now in January 2025, Mrs B’s will be offering our Level 3 iPET Dog Grooming courses on weekends as well as during the week! ✨

This will allow students to complete our 30 day Diploma over 15 weekends meaning they can fit their iPET training in around current work commitments.

All of our in person iPET courses will be available on weekends.

🎉 Well done to our super star student and groomer, Tara who has been nominated for IPET NETWORK STUDENT OF THE YEAR! 🙌💃🥳

We couldn’t be prouder and think of anyone else more deserving of this award! ✨

When Tara started training with us in the academy she grasped grooming instantly and took to grooming like a duck to water! 🐶

She has always been so dedicated, passionate and always taking that extra time to make sure that every dog she grooms is happy and perfect! 💜

She passed her course with flying colours and then when she started grooming at Mrs B’s, she was instantly a customer favourite, always being requested as their groomer to groom their dog! 🐾

We’re so buzzing for her because she is honestly amazing and we’re just so happy that she’s been nominated for this award! In our eyes you’ve already won! 😘💜✨

🎉 HAPPY NEW YEAR 🥳

What a fabulous year 2024 was, here’s to 2025 and hoping it will be an even better year for us and for you! ✨

We are back in full swing here at Mrs B’s and are filling up nicely for our January grooms! 🐶

However we still have appointments available for this week for all different types of grooms so give us a call on 0113 278 2061 ☎️ drop us a DM or book online through our website! 🐾

We also have lots of new students in our academy so we have lots of academy grooms available - if you would like to book in with Molli and her students then get in touch and we can get you booked in!

Also, due to lots of last minute cancellations and no shows over the Christmas period, our bookings system has updated over the new year - so to book an appointment you need a card on file for your account (we don’t have access to this, it is managed through square space) just so if you are unable to attend and don’t give us at least 24 hours notice or just don’t turn up then we will just ask to charge your card £20 to cover the costs of the booking that has been lost.
