We have another lovely groom done in our training academy by another one of our superstar students! 🙌

Getting your dog groomed in our training academy is amazing for our students as they get to learn and develop their skills!

It can also be more of a chilled groom as it takes longer, there is a lot of stopping and starting so lots of cuddles are involved and they’re in a separate room from the main grooming room, so all the attention is on your dog! 😍

They are also discounted grooms so great if you want to grab a bargain!

💅 The gorgeous Wilma came in yesterday for her desheading appointment but also wanted to get her nails done just in time for Christmas! 🫢

Doesn’t she look fabulous! 😍

Molli our amazing academy teacher can paint your pooches nails if you would like this as an extra service! 💅

She can also make your pooches tail all different colours! 🐶

This will allow students to complete our 30 day Diploma over 15 weekends meaning they can fit their iPET training in around current work commitments.

All of our in person iPET courses will be available on weekends.

🦷 Teefy Thursdays 🦷

In these pictures this gorgeous pooch has been coming for regular visits for his teeth cleaning, so the plaque on his teeth isn’t as intense as it would be if it was his first/second visit.

By coming regularly, in this dog’s case every 8 weeks, we are able to keep his teeth maintained and healthy! ✨

In between his visits his owner is giving him chew toys and natural dog treats such as pigs ears etc which even further to maintain his teeth’s health and keep the plaque at bay! 🙌

Maintaining your dogs dental hygiene is really important as it ensures that your dogs mouth is healthy and can help to avoid expensive vet bills where they sometimes have to loose some of their teeth.

It is a very easy process and doesn’t take that long to carry out, making it ideal if your dog isn’t a fan too much of going to the groomers! 🐶

Toffee was groomed by the one and only Molli on one of the limited Saturday appointments she does have!

They take a little longer but they are discounted and come with extra cuddles and kisses for your pooch! ✨

It’s always a really nice relaxing groom for your dog as it is a training session, so they get lots of breaks and cuddles in-between! 🙌

✨ Josie’s first groom! ✨

We had the sweet Josie in yesterday for a puppy intro!
This was her first time at the groomers and she did so well, she was such an angel throughout the whole process! 🐶

A puppy intro is the perfect introduction appointment for your pooch when they’re a puppy to get them used to coming to the groomers and to start to understand what goes on here 🐾

There are always lots of cuddles and kisses involved and they are always the centre of attention in the salon! 🐾

A puppy intro includes:
- A bath & blow dry
- Brushing of the coat
- Tidying the face, hygiene, feet & tail
- Nails

🦷 Teefy Tuesdays 🦷

Here we have the before and after of our EmiPet canine teeth cleaning services! ✨

As you can see in the top picture there is quite a big build up of plaque which we need to remove in order to keep your dog’s teeth clean and healthy!
Removing the plaque also helps to prevent gum disease and tooth decay so it is important to do this for your dog regularly! 🐾

When we brush your dogs teeth, we use the EmiPet ultrasonic toothbrush, which helps to break plague up so we are able to remove it.

Depending on the severity of the plaque on their teeth, depends on how easily we are able to remove it.
If there is a big build up, it may take a few appointments in order to remove it as it could take a while to break it down.

Things like chew toys and natural treats like pigs ears (which we sell here at Mrs B’s) do help to break down the plaque in-between visits, especially on the back teeth, as they can reach those hard places and the chewing motion gives it the friction to be able to break it down.

You can also talk to your groomer about this when you come in for your regular grooms as it can coincide quite well to get your dog groomed and their teeth cleaned at the same time! 🙌
