I left a career in primary teaching in 2012 and set up Katie's Perfect Paws to serve the needs of local dogs and their owners (and a better work/ life balance!). People still need to go to work and that's where I come in. I have two hourly group walks a day at 10am and 1pm for 6 well-behaved, socialised, off-lead dogs. We enjoy quieter spaces such as Adel Woods, Golden Acre Park and Hetchell Woods

Roundhay Gorge this afternoon and we went a bit 'off-grid'. Blue is always up for a chase, someone to chase him, and Charlie had a fab time reliving his youth with him!
It was all going swimmingly until we crossed the golf course and Blue & Meala decided to have a party in the bunker!!🤦🏼‍♀️ Yes, there were golfers waiting to tee-off!!!!!! No photos of that, I was too busy scurrying away.

Mooching at Meanwood.
I cannot stress how amazing the weather has been! However it means that lots of people are enjoying Autumnal walks. Meanwood was busy so we spent an hour playing Dodge!
I said, "stop, wait" and "this way" a lot! The pups were amazing x

Obi did his best Darth Vader impression today but was allowed some cone-free freedom on the walk. He's had a poorly paw (nibble, nibble!)
The few days rest meant his energy levels were much higher. It's wonderful to see our older dogs joining in the fun x

Even Spennie joined in the chasing today. Ball-deprivation has made him much more sociable (although he still gives me killer looks!) 🙂

In case you've forgotten, Reva is Obi's "sister", an Australian Labradoodle from Walter's breeder. She came out with her mum today for a lesson in group shot posing - from the masters!!
(She's honestly as gorgeous as she looks!)

No chance of a group shot this afternoon!!! 😄
Mila was unstoppable, Mabel was happy to oblige, and add Walter into the mix ... I was definitely kept on my toes. Rusty's always up for a bark, and Hatty just ignored them all. Obi will be disappointed he took a day off!!!

What a way to end the week!
We were so happy to be back at Woofing Woods. The dogs spent ages having a good sniff about, fun in all the deep leaves, sticky play, and lots of posing!
