Well... The end of another Super ☀ Week
Were ready for a drop in temps now, and some rain would be nice. I know not something we would usually wish for but everything is struggling in this heat. Even the grass is disappearing on us 😔
But... A good week enjoyed by all.
Last to walk this week was the wonderful Jake.
He's been making fab progress. Slowly learning to be calm and take new places in his stride. He was getting rather excited when he saw the van so we've spent a bit of time teaching him that calm Jake gets to go out and about, excited Jake does a lot of tooing and froing from the front door to the van, not get in and back.
Jake sees the van as his Safe Space, and very often decides if his walk is too much mentally that he's going to head back. One of the things we've been doing to help is treat finding, and with the weather been so hot its great to do in the woods with him.
Slow and Steady wins the race Jake 😊

Sad day for me as howie lola and moon are leaving the paw pal gang. Unfortunately they have have moved and we don't cover the area.
We started with just howie and lola, then came moon.
We have walked in the wind, rain, snow, ice, fog and sun. You name it we have walked in it.
We have gone through I don't know how many leads as moon likes to chew them. 😂 😂 😂 😂
They have met new friends big and small.
We have walked anywhere and everywhere.
Going to miss these guys.

Bit warm today. That yellow thing in the sky has been shining. ☀
No gold star for me today. I kept leaving my phone in the van. 😂
I did remember to grab it when Hugo was out. We went for a wander on flexi lead which he loves. Thought let's get your brain tired as well as your legs. So we did some canine enrichment, find the treats. We did short grass and long grass. Sometimes it took Hugo a while to find it, but he found it in the end. 😍
He is on a strict diet and only allowed certain foods. His owner kindly leaves me his treats out so he never feels left out.
He absolutely loved playing this game and was worn out.

Hugo had a bit of one to one with me today, so there was only one thing for it. Flexi lead time😍😍😍 he had an absolute blast. Think we will be doing this more often as he loved it. Got to sniff blades of grass he normally can't get to. 😂😂😂

What a lovely day we had a Crufts yesterday... We only just made it in time to get Olly into the ring, even though we left at 5.30am the snow up here, and traffic down there caused us delays.
But... We got him in the Hall and Lisa was straight in, just enough time to give him a wipe down.
Retail therapy, plenty of dog cuddles, and friends to see who were competing in various ways and around 7 mile walked 😂 😂 😂 we made it home around 9pmto a much needed cup of tea ☕ ☕ ☕
All rested and ready for walks this morning guys there will be no more blooming disruption thus year!!!!!!

We have all woke up to this again. 😠😠😠😠
Once again we have woken up to quite a covering of snow this morning.
We are hoping this will melt away quite quickly as soon as it stops falling, as rain is predicted. However until then we are going to wait and evaluate the safety of the roads.
We aim to get around to all the pups today but unfortunately it may just be a slightly later start.
As ever we will keep up posted as soon as we know anymore.
Pip deserved some long line crazy fun today. She's been such a good girl walking with Oscar the past week and a bit. She earnt an afternoon of letting her hair down.
We worked on sit. Apparently that means sit between my legs and pull funny faces 😂

Quick video of how well some of the dogs walk together. So proud of them. Here we have Fin and golden Dexter to my right. Otis, Poppy, Toby and chocolate Dexter to my left.
The do pull off to one side if they want to smell something or use the facilities. Otherwise it's forward march and to heel.
Though chocolate Dexter likes to walk ON heel. Trainers need to be on tight or he'll pull them off 😂

We have a major Black Ice issue at the moment 😔
I've been out and walking is almost impossible right now.
Therefore all Walkers will be pushing start times back a little in the hope it clears.
As I'm sure you understand safety is paramount, for both walkers and dogs.
