We've had a few people saying they really want our Christmas spa package but their dogs aren't due a full groom

Don't fear! We offer a maintenance groom/ bath and brush which you can add our Christmas spa package to! 😍

So you can enjoy having your pup fresh for Santa paws without having any hair cut!

Maintenance grooms are from £30 for smooth haired
From £35 for small to medium dogs
From £40 for large breed dogs

And our Christmas spa package is £12

After such a positive response to my post in regards to no shows and deposits

Thank you so much for being so kind and understanding

All current appointments that are booked in are honoured and secured without a deposit

However, moving forward, we will be taking £15 deposit per dog to secure your appointment

This will then be taken off the price of your final bill, alternatively it can be kept rolling to future appointments

As always, thank you for your custom and trusting us with your pups 🐾

If your dog has been groomed recently they should have had their pad hairs clipped out so I've shouldn't get baby icicles stuck so they should just need a quick mini scrub

If your dog has long hair between their pads, make sure you give them a good search when they get in from playing in the snow

Whether your pooch has been groomed recently or not, make sure you moisturise those toe beans! We use a beautiful h**p balm in the salon but when at home I use coconut oil on my pups

NO SHOWS

slightly more negative than our usual posts but it seems to have become a bit of an issue recently and with the Christmas rush we can't go without saying something.

We have had an unacceptable amount of no shows and last minute cancellations recently.

Despite being a new business we have gone above and beyond to ensure that we provide your pups with the best experience possible for their appointment, which has come with a price to us whilst we build our client base, but worth every penny for the pooches in our care.

We are one of the very few salons that are open on a Saturday, we have done this in order to make appointments available for those clients who work hard during the week (to give their pups a good life of course) despite this taking time away from our own families.

All of our appointments/ time are very valuable, even more so our time at the weekend and busy periods.

If you do not show up to your appointment or give us less than 24 hours notice that you will not be attending, it is very unlikely we will be able to fill your missed slot which will cost us both time and money.

We know of other salons taking deposits, however as we appreciate it's such a privilege that you choose to trust us with your dogs, we return this trust by trusting you will not waste our time without finances being involved.

However, with large overheads and in order to maintain the high standard that we do at Beauty and the Beast, if this continues to be an issue we will have no choice but to take 50% of the groom as a deposit.

I'm hoping that it does not have to come to this, we do understand that unforseen circumstance can happen and try and be empathetic and accomodating where we can, however we would ask that the same courtesy is applied to us and our time.

Moving forward, if you are unable to attend your appointment, please, where possible can you let us know more than 24 hours before your appointment.

If you do not attend your appointment and do not contact us, if you would like to book in with us in the future we will require 100% of the missed appointment fee as unfortunately the trust in our relationship with you will have been broken and need to be rebuilt.

As always, we value all of our fantastic clients and their pups for supporting us and the hard work that we do.
