A big, big thank you to my super customers who have donated bottles of Prosecco to Animal ArkAid Afternoon Tea Party .
If anyone else needs to 'rehome' a bottle please consider us, check out www.animalarkaid.org.uk, to see what we do.
We raise funds for those smaller independent rescues/ animal welfare groups.

Just a little call for help
on behalf of Animal ArkAid, the charity I am a trustee of.
We are holding an Afternoon Tea fundraising event (22ndJune) and in need of bottles of Prosecco ( definitely not for me, as I don't like it haha). So if anyone could help us out here with a donation of a bottle it would be much appreciated . Thank you.

Just wondering if anyone has any plastic piping off cuts - like over flow plumbing pipes. As a member of Animal ArkAid, I am helping with their event at Pudsey Carnival next week. We have been given some dog jumps but not the poles. If anyone does have any please message me. Thank you

This super dog was taken to vets with a view to being put to sleep. The vet knows the dog & was so reluctant to do this as other than being a Mali, needing some tlc & an owner who knows what they have, it would break the vets heart.
The vet contacted good friends of his who train dogs professionally So this beauty is now in their care & receiving some good hands on training all free of charge, all we need now is a new owner.
3yrs old, female, not sure if spayed but the vet has said he will sort if not.

Please note our opening times 10 to 12 & 5-6pm everyday apart from Sundays & Wednesdays - only open 5-6pm.
Any dogs arriving out of hours will incur a £20 out of hours charge unless previous agreement made.

Seeing quite a few posts on local sites reporting possible parvo virus in Kippax area. I have spoken to vets, who have liaised between themselves & none have reported any cases apart from a puppy in Nov/Dec.
So this news is still unconfirmed even with the Vet hospitals who would be dealing with this.
Please make sure you do keep up to date with your pets vaccinations.
