This treatment has liquid involved and is recommended to be done alongside your grooming appointment but is not necessary.

This is a silent process so your dog will have no discomfort. There is no sedation or anaesthetic!

🩵🐶FAIL TO PREPARE - PREPARE TO FAIL! 🐶🩵⭐️Follow now for more head tilts & wise words!⭐️ Soooooo many floofs don’t like their faces being dried… I don’t battle with this, I simply let the face dry naturally and then comb through. Will it give me the perfect finish?… nope! But the dog will be less stressed with the process. Humanity before vanity… If you can see curl definition and clumps, the coat IS NOT fully prepped! Comb through all of these curly coats thoroughly before any styling. The finer the comb the better! You should just see pure gorgeous floofiness rather than any curls… then you’re ready for styling!!! How is your coat prep???

!EDUCATIONAL VIDEO! If you cannot get a fine comb through your dog when brushing their coat then you may need to swap your techniques. (Daily Slicker brushing, then going over with a fine tooth comb is all you need to do to keep the matting at bay). Most doodle owners love the long coated “ scruffy” look. But, the truth about it is it requires a LOT of maintenance at home and appointments at the grooming salon biweekly if not weekly for that Bathing, combing and blowouts of the coat . it’s important to understand that puppy hair can be easier to take care of, but as your doodle goes through their coat change at about 6 to 8 months of age and develops its adult coat it can be very difficult to keep the matting at bay. that’s why we like to meet you in the middle ..and provide you with a longer yet practical haircut for your doodle that will keep them fluffy and not having to be shaved every time they go to the groomer. 🌈⭐️ If you are struggling and need any help or guidance please just let me know. #combingbrushing #comb #brush #hair #doggrooming #education #educationmatters #kippax #garforth #leeds #GetInTouch #book #now #booknow‼️

THE IMPORTANCE OF DESHED GROOMS When talking about dog grooming, often the first thought that comes to mind is clipping and scissoring fluffy dogs, right? Well, having your smooth or double coated dog groomed regularly is just as important and beneficial to your dog! Double coated dogs go through a regular growth cycle with their hair. Some dogs seem to go through this cycle much quicker than others, but often dog owners notice a huge increase in shedding between seasons. This is the dog's way of preparing for the cooler or warmer weather, and helps them regulate body temperature. Regular grooms help promote good skin and coat health, may stimulate blood flow and most importantly keeps your home and clothes less hairy! Groomers are also likely to see your dog more often than a vet, so we can spot changes in health much quicker. Naturally we can't diagnose anything medical, but can point out any changes and recommend a visit to your vet for further investigation. All deshed grooms include a bath & blow-dry, removal of old undercoat, nail trim, ear clean and a light scissor tidy "around the edges" if required. All grooms are finished with a splash of perfume to make your dog smell extra delicious (unless asked otherwise).
