Cheadle Running Club runners in a number of races

The very hilly Stone 5 race at Oulton was staged last Wednesday evening. The severely undulating course is run over two laps and takes into account several long and steep ascents, not helped by the cool weather conditions prevailing on the night.

Ken Shenton was third M65 in 44.43, whilst Julie Dudley was third L65 in 46.46. Phil Plant also finished in 35.24, followed by Russell Williams 46.05 and Alice Dudley 50.16.
Further afield, at the Caernarfon 10k on the previous Sunday, Julie Dudley won first L65 prize in 51.04. The recent run of good results also continued at the Dave Clarke 10k race on 15th August where Ken Shenton was first L65 in 26.48, whilst Alice Dudley clocked 28.52.
