We're rather pleased with this event! Working with the local Methodist Church in Rudyard Village, we're pleased to add another new event to our calender

❄️⛄️"Christmas Carol Train"⛄️❄️

Running one train on the 23rd December!
This event won't fail to bring the Christmas spirit to both young and old.

The evening will start at 6pm at Rudyard Station, were Adults will be offered Mulled wine and a mince pie (non alcoholic and non mince pie alternatives available) and Kids will get juice and biscuits.

At 6:30pm, our little train will take passengers up to Hunthouse wood, where we will conduct our Carol service overlooking the Beautiful Rudyard Lake.

After the Services, the train will then bring everyone back to Rudyard Station for around 08:30pm

(If the weather is against us, then the Carol Service will be held at Rudyard Station after the train ride).

We are asking for people to Book in advance for this train due to limited availability and buying the appropriate number of mince pies/Mulled wine.

£6.50 an Adult
£4 a Child

All profits are going to the local Church.

Just to let everyone now, that the wind is dieing down, the flood has drained away thanks to a brilliant local unblocking one of the main road drains.

So we "ARE RUNNING TODAY"
So if you have booked, please come for your allotted time

If you haven't booked and wish to come along for a Twilight ride, please come along and we can try and squeeze you in

Its great regret and a heavy heart, that we have to announce that tonight's planned Twilight trains will not be running tonight.

We understand this is disappointing, but the wind has really picked up here at Rudyard within the last hour, couple this with Flooding on the main road into Rudyard, it'd just be irresponsible of us to carry on.

To all those who have booked, we will now be intouch to offer the chance to move your booking to another day or a refund.

Regards tomorrow, we are still planning to run, but will review it in the morning (so please keep an eye out in here and your emails)

This weekend just gone, we did our first Twilight trains! It was a private event for some children and parents from a local Primary school.
Hopefully you'll agree that the train looks amazing!
And we can't wait to welcome you all for the offical public Twilight trains which start this Friday! They are Booking up quickly so don't hesitate.

These trains will run on the following dates/times

Friday 6th December - 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm

Saturday 7th December - 4pm, 4:40pm, 5:20pm, 6pm, 6:40pm, 7:20pm

Sunday 8th December - 4pm, 4:40pm, 5:20pm, 6pm, 6:40pm, 7:20pm

Friday 13th December - 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm

Friday 20th December - 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm.

All paying children recieve a free Sleigh bell while stocks last.

Today we're marking Remembrance Sunday. It's with humble thanks we honour the memory of all those who have given so much in the service of our country, whether in uniform, in conflict, at home or offering humanitarian aid to others.

Well here it is! The last day of the season, meaning no more trains until our Twilight trains and our Santa Trains (Santa bookings are now being taken and filling up quick).

Today we're marking Remembrance Sunday early (due to today being our last day). It's with humble thanks we honour the memory of all those who have given so much in the service of our country, whether in uniform, in conflict, at home or offering humanitarian aid to others.

It's only fitting that today, Norfolk Pioneer is in steam, as she was named after Lt Cdr Roy Francis.Torpedoed twice before his 21st birthday he served right through the war, with one of his most famous postings being the ship HMS Edinburgh.

Today to commemorate remembrance day, veterans and those currently serving military services can travel for free (proof of service will be required, 1 adult per family).

We are running 11am till 3pm,

Fares are - £5.50 per adult return, £3.00 per child return.

We have had alot of bookings (which are now closed!)

But there are a few spaces on the 5pm (small child friendly train) and the 7pm train if anyone still wants to come along.

Due to a non paying member of the public, who vandalised our toilets with their f***l matter this afternoon, the toilets in the station will remain closed for foreseeable future. The authorities have been given our CCTV footage of the person.
