If you see me out and about and I ask you to recall your dog back, there is a reason why I have said this it’s not to be rude, not all my dogs get on with other dogs outside of the pack, for the safety of my dogs and yours please do not ignore me when I say this and walk off and leave your dog with me . My pack is my responsibility not dogs that you cannot control .

These Gingerbread Dog Cookies are a festive treat perfect for including your furry friend in the holiday fun! Made with dog-friendly ingredients, they’re packed with warm, seasonal flavors and make for a healthy and delicious snack.

Ingredients:
1 cup oat flour (or whole wheat flour)
1/2 cup pure pumpkin purée (unsweetened, not pie filling)
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (optional, for digestive health)
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for festive flavor)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin purée, applesauce, egg, ginger, and cinnamon. Mix well. Gradually add the oat flour, stirring until a dough forms. If the dough feels too sticky, add more flour 1 tablespoon at a time.

3. Shape the Cookies
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick. Use gingerbread man cookie cutters or any fun holiday shapes to cut out the cookies. Gather scraps, re-roll, and cut until all the dough is used.

4. Bake
Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden. For a crunchier cookie, reduce the oven temperature to 250°F (120°C) and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

5. Cool Completely
Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack before serving them to your dog.

Storage:
Room Temperature: Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Freeze: Freeze for up to 1 month. Thaw before serving.
