Children in nurseries have to pay regardless whether the child is ill or on holiday and regardless of whether you use it or not, your spot and place is allocated .

It’s a similar situation in dog walking and doggy daycare. However I’m more lenient so providing I have plenty of notice I won’t charge you if you need to cancel.

My cancellation policy is as follows

Cancellation Policy

- Dog Walking & Doggy Daycare.
2x or more days in advance to cancel - £no Charge
24 hours notice – 50% Charge
Cancellation on the day – £ Full price

Why….
I have to plan my work around my regulars and what I class as extras, if i look after your dog weekly or biweekly you are considered regular. If you are ad hoc, you are classed as an extra. Either way I have to plan my ratios in accordance to the dogs at any one time and whether they can be mixed or not plus I have to allow time in the day in order to carry out the job. Sometimes I may need to put my children into morning club at school which costs. Sometimes if cancelled I cannot cancel my payment to the school. So depending on when you have cancelled will depend on what is charged as above.

- Dog Boarding (minimum 24 hours care)
3 or more weeks notice for cancellation
£No Charge
2-3 weeks before start - £10 / Night
3 days to 13 days before start - 50%.
up to 48 Hours before start – £full price.

Why…
I cannot allocate your spot to other people at short notice and therefore unable to replace work which has been allocated and effectively purchased by the client, at time of booking if I had others interested on the same dates I would have declined them as I normally only have one boarding space available.

Sorry but I have had to do this as I have had far too many last minute cancellations and it’s getting extremely difficult to manage it all.
