The best dinner guests ever 😋
A fine example of well-balanced, well trained dogs around food. And super cute!
Firm corrections
Top tip: Don't use your dogs name when disciplining or correcting your dog.
Instead use a noise or firm No.
Making a noise like the sound of a spray is fast and effective 👌
If you would like a demonstration with your dog or further information on training, please send us a message 🐾

What to do if you see another dog approaching on a lead.....
👀 PANIC
❌️ Run into the bushes
❌️Throw treats on the floor as a distraction
❌️Tell your dog a thousand times, "It's OK, good boy," while he looks to see what you are hiding from
❌️ Wait for the savage beast to pass, breathe, and continue
❌️ No!!
It sounds ridiculous when you read it, but we see this all the time.
Avoiding, slowing down, stopping completely, tightening the lead, starting to reassure your dog when you see another dog approaching is creating the exact opposite response you'd like from your dog.
Your dog will be
1) Confused as to why the walk has changed
2) Looking for the reason you are flapping
3) Likely to go into protection mode as you are signalling that you are anxious
Your best option is to continue exactly as you were, maybe step up the pace slightly as without realising you probably slowed down.
Shoulders back and walk on by!
We will share video content over the next couple of weeks to demonstrate the above.
