The worst news today. Our Poppy, beautiful, sweet, loopy Pops, as passed over the rainbow bridge. Pops has been part of our family since Happy Paws began and we are devastated. You were so poorly Pops, I know you are running and running now, pain free, through the fields and woods forever. I am heartbroken 💔. All of our love to her lovely family, I know there are no words to take away your pain. Run free Pops, and never stop chasing those shadows 🌈 💔❤️❤️

This is Pufi. He’s a 9 year old Bichon/maltese. No health issues. Sadly his owners need to leave the uk and can’t take him with them. He’s fine with people, children and dogs but not cats. A reminder to anyone with a new dog. If you are going to leave them with anyone while you go on holiday, don’t assume they will behave quite the same as they do with you! Dogs are unpredictable, almost without exception! I recomend putting a tracker on them, this one can be shared with whoever is looking after them. Here’s a link with a discount code:

Just received the awful news that our lovely Skye has passed over the rainbow bridge at the age of 13. She was a perfect little spaniel 💔 😢. I will miss you Skye, run free little one xx

So. Joey has been with his lovely foster family since my last post. Unfortunately the family are relocating so Joey is looking for somewhere to stay, all expenses paid. Joey is 13 and can’t really walk far as he is losing his back legs. He is mostly deaf and partially blind but otherwise in good health. He loves his cuddles and is fine with other dogs but he’s not a fan of cats. If you think you can give Joey a home in his twilight years please get in touch. We need to find somewhere before February. Thanks everyone.

Is anyone able to offer a safe and quiet home to Joey? He’s nearly 13, hard of hearing and partially blind but no other health issues. He’s fine with other dogs but will seek quiet refuge in their presence. Family health issues mean his owners are sadly unable to care for him any more but they are happy to continue to pay for his insurance. Joey is happy out in the garden or with a short walk around the block, can be left and sleeps in his own bed. Please consider that, sadly, dogs do not live forever and Joey is getting on a bit.
