After shoot season we need them to start listening again🤔, so going back to directional work this will be this week’s drill, Working on directions, steadiness and positive stop whistle as Robert Milner talks about in his book ‘Absolutely Positively Gundog Training’ It’s all about repetition, repetition, repetition.

Great day today on Thornby Shoot, always fun being out with you guys. Girls are shattered now though!

Blind retrieve out before the dogs and Ruby was pretty sure that white dummy was the only one out until she listened. 😂👏🏻

🐶 have a go scurries ran by Hare and Hounds Dog Training inc novice and open classes - prizes donated by Sporting Saint - Gundog Training Equipment and Masters Dog Foods

Went to The Game Fair today and the girls did us proud again Ruby winning a first and Chili a third in the BASC scurries. Well done girls 👏🏻🦴🦴

Super excited to announce that I’ve been accepted by The Gundog Club as an accredited Gundog Club trainer and assessor. It’s not an easy accreditation to get so this has made my day and finished the year off nicely. I’m so chuffed it’s unbelievable.

This couldn’t have been possible without Steve & Susie Hare, Deb’s and obviously my partners in crime Ruby & little Chili dog.
