We have been grooming Pippa & her late brother Leo for over 7 years now & she was very much a huge part of our lives & grooming family. Just a polite reminder to all customers!!
With the humid conditions of this week & wet weather last week, we are seeing an increased amount of customers dogs with Fleas & have been informed of a Flea Epidemic this year. Please ensure your dogs flea treatment is up to date & check weekly with a very inexpensive flea coomb. We appreciate you telling us if they do have fleas.

Also you need to prevent infestations in your homes using insecticide that kills fleas, eggs & larve.
We cannot risk any cross contamination to other customers, our dogs or our home.

While this weather is gorgeous, please be extra cautious with your furbabies . Dogs can't sweat like us so are at higher risk of over heating in this weather. They need shade, they need water, they need to be somewhere cool. Please don't be taking them out for walks in the hottest parts of the day, remember the 5 second Rule...if it's too hot for the back of your hand after 5 seconds on the path then it will burn your dogs pawpads.

Also, remember Astro Turf is plastic and can hot up very quickly. Ensure you spray it with cold water regular to keep it cool as again this will burn your dogs pawpads.
In the salon, we have taken every measure to ensure your dog is comfortable, from fans and windows wide open to regular extra breaks in between grooming for water and rest. I am currently using the cool settings on all our driers, which means it's taking slightly longer to dry your pooches, so please be aware of this.
